After visiting a few Mp's over the past week, I have had discussions with each SP with respect to the tip for a basic rub n tug. All of them had pretty much said the same thing. If you're going for just the tug and no extra's a tip of roughly $25.00 is expected. They usually expect to be done in about 15 minutes tops which is justifiable. They really don't appreciate just giving a body massage for about 20 minutes and then tugging for another 10 minutes for just a $25 tip when they can easily make over $100 in extras in that same time frame.

Bottom line, for you all you straigt tugger, no extra guys out there, in order for you to get excellent service for a straight HJ, be sure you request it at the beginning of your meeting and thats all your interested in, mentioned to them that you will tip them x amount of $ UP FRONT (very important) If you tell them you don't want any extra's, do not expect to have a great 20 minute massage and 10 minute tug if you don't mention that you will be tipping them BEFORE the massage. This obviosly applies only to MP's where SP's make money off of extra's.

P.S. Something I wanted to mention before and I have seen a few times while I'm the waiting room are that some of the other guys waiting for a the next available SP are intoxicated in one way or another. For all you drunk ass bastards, please sober up before visiting an MP. I'm sure alot of other gents like myself don't like visiting a SP after they had to deal with a loud mouth moron. Its not fair to the next person in line and definetely not fair to the SP.

massageman, you may be a senior member on massageplanet.net, but out in the real massage world, your a rookie....i don't know where you shop, but if your going to these places, and getting a basic, why don't you just save you money and play the ONE EYED FLUTE yourself...

a basic massage is a waist of money, plus if i did go for one of those, i sure would not tip $25 on top of the $40 at the door....thats rookie stuff...money has alot to do with the service, but treat others how you want to be treated and you will find things more pleasant.

the onll money i give the attendant is the money they ask for, if i get a nr and it costs $120, thats all she's getting, no tip on top of that, and in my past 7 yrs of being in this hobby, i have not had one basic massage....WHY BUY NO NAME BRANDS, WHEN I CAN AFFORD GUCCI....YA FEEL ME....

15 minutes is far from justifiable, pal you getting ripped, you pay $40 at the door for half hr, and that is what you expect...your full half hr, that is justifiable

I think your statistical sampling techniques need some improvvement. The sample population for your survey has a built-in bias.

Considering that 20/40/60 is a very common pricing scheme, why would one tip $25 for a basic, when a topless would be $20?

Huh? I am trying to follow the logic here without much luck. There are 2 concurrent posts going on where people are discussing tipping on top of a basic. Why would you tip $25 over a basic instead of electing a topless for $20?

Maybe someone should do a poll here on what we tip over a basic, topless, N, NR, BS, FS.

$25 tip for just a basic R&T? So, that's a total of about $65 to get your pole waxed? Hmmm.... For that, I'd order a pizza, 6 pack, rent a XXX feature then play my own flute, and then have about $30 left over.
I've started visiting this MP where I get an excellent massage followed by an above average finish. No extra's are available. I pay $40 for half-hour and usually tip $10. The tipping is not expected, but they don't watch the clock and the massage is great.

I think that some MPs cater to the intoxicated crowd. When I spend an evening at a strip club (usually Mississauga) there is almost always a business card from an MP on the door of my car. I think the idea is that after being heated up by strippers and having your judgement impaired by alchohol, you are more likely to visit an MP.

Of course, there are other MPs that close at 11 or 12 to avoid the problem of intoxicated clients. Probably the best way to avoid rubbing shoulders with these "drunk ass bastards" is to be more selective in the MPs you visit and the time of day you see them.

Well guys, I may be a new massageplanet.net member but I have attended over 100 establishments over the past 17 years and have enjoyed a variety of services. If I pay for extras, I pay what they ask UNLESS the SP goes above and beyond the call of duty, then she will get tipped. In the case of a "straight" massage, I tip anywhere from $10.00 to $20.00 depending on the service.

Well, you've started two threads on the same thing...first one is asking what is a good tip and second one is what a SP says you should give....

First of all, SP's are used to refer to escorts. MPA's are used to refer to Massage Parlour attendants.

Secondly, like Paul says, get out and see some different MP's
