Hi guys, I'm not sure if I've put this in the right place but if not, please point me in the right direction! *First post*
I'm starting to make my own face and body creams and washes, as I'm tired of counting how many toxic or harmful ingredients I can find in products! I haven't made any of these before so I'm starting quite simple with some basic moisturisers.
I'm going to be using cocoa butter, beeswax as the emulsifier and essential oils.
My problem is that I'm not sure what proportions I need, I want to make:
A hand cream- I like these to be quite rich so I assume more cocoa butter?
A face balm- I preffer a semi-hard face balm, if anyone has used Decleor's essential balm, this is the kind of texture I'm after.
A body moisturiser- Maybe a little more intensive than the everyday moisturiser but I don't want to be sweating oil out!
If anyone can give me an idea what kind of proportions I should be looking at that would be great, also I have dry skin so keep that in mind
Also what are people's favourite essential oil blends? I love smelling good enough to eat
Any little tips would be great also!
Thanks x
