Thinking about becoming a massage girl... how might i get started????

I know nothing about it... do I need a liscence... I dance right now.... any info would be great, thanks.

you should probably call some of the massage parlours like Hands From Heaven or Royal Massage and talk to the managers. they probably know more about it than most of the guys over here..

If you decide to become an indy you probably don't need a licence.
If you would like massage lessons from an old hand, so to speak, I have been told by many an mpa that I'm pretty damn good at it.

There is no licence needed as Shades had already mentioned, some cities have differ bi-laws, all depends on the cities your working in, and if your an indy or mp, if youd like more info you can pm me..

Somebody suggested u call Kayla at Hands from Heaven. That's probably really smart advice. If you need a license, friends of mine have spent about $2k apiece to get arometherapy licenses (course plus license). Hehe, before you go to work anyplace, check its reviews here. There are a lot of places you wouldn't enjoy working.

At HFH, you would need a 'body rub license' to work in Vaughan. You would get started by reading much information on massageplanet.net.. through the reviews you can get an idea of which place you would like to work at. It will depend upon many things such as the times that you are available to work, whether your prefered place has any employment opportunities, your looks, etc.

After you have considered a few places, and telephoned them for appointments for interviews, go and see what you think. Have interviews with a few places.. and then afterwards make your decission.

Much like dancing, there are good and bad places to work.
I would first find out the spas hours and figure out which one best suits your lifestyle. Also, inquire about liscencing. It does require a little work to obtain a liscence but it is well worth it, as working for a liscence studio in general can be much safer.
Don't limit yourself. Check out as many places as possible. Call ahead and ask to speak to the owner or manager, and make arrangements for an interview.
You'll know when you walk in whether or not it's the type of place you could see yourself working in.
