Hi, has anyone ever had a client for an aromatherapy massage who has non hodgkins lymphoma?
if so what were the results? did they enjoy it?
and did you have to adapt the treatment for them?if so how
any help would be great

Yes, I have had a few as most of my clients now are cancer patients.

You need to ensure that the client lets the doctor know that they are having aromatherapy massage. I have only had one client whose doctor has told her not to have massage because of her illness.

I tend to use oils that are gentle, such as mandarin and only use a couple of drops per 10-15mls of carrier. You must work very gently and avoid any area of lymphatic swelling and of course chemo ports, etc.

The treatment is extremely beneficial. One client in particular has been given the all clear now.
