ELLSWORTH — The journey of cancer treatment is arduous and often filled with prolonged periods of pain, frustration and confusion as the illness takes hold. Conventional treatment involves heavy medication and radiation therapy, both of which frequently leave patients with negative physical and mental side effects.
For local cancer patients, their loved ones and survivors of the illness, a new light has emerged in this tunnel of tribulations — Erin Crowley, a licensed massage therapist and owner of SeaSalt and Sage Massage in Milbridge, will bring her holistic approach to the Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center, providing a window of reprieve for those fighting cancer.
