Oil Removal

Hi everyone!
Can anyone give me some advice on removing oil stains from my white unifom.
I must have been careless with my hands when doing massages and have either sweet almond oil, coconut oil, or grapeseed oil on the front of both tunics!

I have tried 3 sorts of washing powder and an oxy-clean soak all night and still can't get the stains off.
Is it a case of bin them and start again ? Would a coloured uniform stain just as badly?

Otherwise I am just going to have to work purely by candlelight so the clients think I am as spotless as I should be!

Any advice anyone?

I personally find using a blob of neat Fairy washing up liquid works really well. If the stains are old & have been washed frequently it may not work as any proteins may have set, but it's worth a go. Rub the washing up liquid into the stain quite intensively, really work it into the fabric for a few minutes, don't rinse. Then stick your clothes into the washing machine, preferably on their own. Use as high a temperature as you can without ruining your clothes and use your normal washing powder.

oh it's a bummer isn't it?

SODA CRYSTALS work everytime. You have to boil it up on the cooker though in a big pot I am afraid - but it gets the stains out. Wisheee-Washeee.

However careful you are you will get it on your uniform and your towels. Yes, dark colours are more practical and worth considering.

The oil gets everywhere - I have permanent streaks in my hair and on my face - love it! Who'd go back to being a secretary - all that Tippex.
