I know this has been covered before and if I remember the oils were not disclosed due to commercial sensitivities (tut tut), anyway Maggie Tisserand who mortgaged her house to pay for the research has a formulae which uses: Sandalwood, niaouli (Melaleauca viridiflora) and ravensara as the main oils amongst others..

Via PubMed, browsers can search for articles published in over 140 medical/
professional journals.

1) Log on to: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
2) Next to the “Search” option, select “PubMed” from the dropdown list.
3) Next to “for”, type “tea tree”, then select “Go”.
4) Find and click on "Edwards-Jones V, Buck R, Shawcross SG, Dawson MM,
Dunn K". This will bring up a summary of the research paper. NB: there is an
email address for V E Jones given at the top of the summary – if you contact him directly by email he may be able to give you further information.
