Patch test advice needed please

I have done a search but couldn't find anything relevant [&:]

Do you ask your clients to come in for a patch test prior to having a treatment done? If so - what is the time period you use (i.e. 24 hours prior to treatment). I know patch testing is vital - i'm also curious as to how viable it is.

Any advice regarding patch testing clients will begreatly appreciated.

Don't know if this helps, but we were told in our aromatherapy class last night that ITEC have just changed their advice (if that's the word) on patch tests from 24 hours to 48 hours.

Patch test? I do not.........A consultationincluding questions about allergieswould throw any possible contraindications i would have thought.Also i suppose the amounts or percentages used in massage are quite small and are used over the whole body so i wouldnt have thought a huge reaction would happen.
What is the advice given about patch testing.......is it to come in 48 hrs prior to treatment)
