Katsiaryna Kabanovich, 24, Milla Liverant, 36, and Tamila Oliynyk, 45, have been charged with promoting prostitution at a Jersey City buildng on Mercer Street.
The prostitute and the "john" were both caught with their pants down, Jersey City police say.
Should 'johns' be arrested too?
The woman, Milla Liverant, 36, of Brooklyn, N.Y., is one of three women charged with promoting prostitution at what Jersey City police say was an illegal massage parlor at 507A Mercer Street.
Katsiaryna Kabanovich, 24, also of Brooklyn, and Tamila Oliynyk, 45, of Linden, were also charged at what appeared to be a multi-family home after police received tips from the community about suspicious activity there, reports said.
Police raided the building Thursday after conducting a sting operation and surveillance, reports said. Officers watching the building saw a large number of men entering and exiting at all hours of the day, for visits ranging in length.
An undercover officer also entered the building as a "client."
When police raided the building, they found Liverant and a man naked in one of the rooms, reports said.
Police also recovered a cell phone with a listing for their services on Backpage.com, more than $2,500 in cash and a notebook that contained customers' names and dollar amounts.
