Question for massage therapists regarding hot stone massage outcalls?

Do you offer it as an outcall service? What are the pros/cons? Advice re: transporting your stones/equipment, pricing your hot stone therapy, etc. would be welcomed. Thank you!

I do hot stones, but in office or in my home. It takes a while for stones to heat, and lugging them and table, sheets, other equip. is a bit much.

I don't offer Hot Stone as part of my services for the following reasons:

It's too much work
There is too much "breaking away" from your clients
It's not worth the hassle for the extra bucks
Some people feel the stones carry bad energy by using the same stones on every client (even if they have been cleaned)

And I personally do not care for this type of massage anyway

I do not offer hot stone as an out call service, due to the transportation problems. I have a hard time getting my hot water to stay in the warmer for the trip. I suppose I could put the water in a Vacuum bottle and pour it on the stones when I get there, but that seems a little extreme for me. As for the pricing, I charge a $30.00 out call fee. I also charge an extra $20.00 for hot stone when applied with Swedish or Deep Tissue.
