too funny guess York region has too much time on hands. The reason I like working Indy it only a Solicitation charge and from what my Lawyer says's it a ticket no worst then speeding. Never been charged and have escort lic so guess I am lucky.

The assignment will likely take at least a month to complete, and require lots of undercover (or is that uncovered) investigation. Just make sure to lay a few charges at the end of the assignment to make it look good to the public!

Of course, all your "expenses" will be covered by the Region!

So, a question: what is wrong with police investigating and in some cases busting "illegal" body rub parlours? Overall, it seems worthwhile for these "illegal" operations to be watched.

Please don't turn this into an incall-outcall legal argument as no one has anything new to add. In this case, we know there are licenced establishments in York region, presumably inspected, but they weren't the ones busted.

I see several issues here. Every time an "illegal" massage place is busted I think it's a good thing as I assume these operations are ripe for serious exploitation. However, busting these store front operations may not be so good as supposedly they are moving into apartments, condos or houses, which I assume are harder to monitor.

I don't believe it was actually an "illegal body rub parlour". Instead, it was a legal massage parlour, where sex between consenting adults may have taken place ... oh, and supposedly with the exchange of money.

It's like busting a legal licensed restaurant because the owner gave a free beer to a regular customer (which is illegal BTW.)

You can legally lie on a table and have a girl rub your body all over and it's perfectly acceptable, but if you happen to also get a BJ at the same time, you're suddenly destroying civilization as we know it.

Windsor, Ontario has an escort license bylaw. The Escorts actually have to register and pay a fee. I understand the review board popular there locally also requires that advertisers comply with the bylaw. I don't know if the bylaw would survive a charter challenge...
