Reunions: A Review and General Thoughts...

I recently had the pleasure of meeting up with a couple of MPA's that I hadn't seen in way too long of a time. I'm going to write a review of one of them and just some general thoughts and feelings about the second one. So read on if you're interested. Be warned though that I haven't written a proper review in a long time so I'm a bit rusty.

The Review: Maylene @ Blue Pearl

This is a girl who I first met early last year while she was working at HFH. I had the pleasure of meeting her again in early January while she was working at another spa, but not since until several days ago.

Maylene is Vietnamese and I'd guess in her early twenties. She has long dark hair, she's slim and very cute. In fact I'd go beyond saying she's cute, I find her very attractive and quite stunning. That was very apparent when I met up with her in January at one of her previous spas. She was sitting on the couch with some of the other girls and there was just no comparison. A diamond in the rough is the best description I can come up with. However at BP, I'm sure there are other attractive girls but Maylene ranks right up there with anyone in the business that I know.

So I arrived and waited for my appointment time and then was shown to the room, showered and waited. Maylene came in a few minutes later. As I was facing away from the door she didn't recognize me at first glance but walked around to face me and then she remembered. "I know you" she says, and we spent a few minutes chatting and getting re-acquainted. I spent an hour with Maylene on this day. It was a session that would best be described as ... refreshing. Refreshing in that I was able to spend the time with a very attractive, genuinely nice girl. The massage while not strong or deep, felt good. I gave her a massage as well which I think she enjoyed as much. Beyond that I can't think of any reason why anyone wouldn't enjoy spending their time with this girl. She's a gem and highly recommended.

One last point for anyone who doesn't know. Maylene was known as Serena at HFH and went by various other names at other spas.

Part Two: Another Reunion

This one is a bit more difficult for me to write. I really don't want to identify the lady in question because there are personal issues involved. So if you feel this is a waste of your time, click away ... but read on if you're interested.

A little over a year ago I went to a spa in Richmond Hill and met up with a cute girl. I'd say she was early, twenties, attractive and in good shape. The spa in question was in an area with a reputation for high-mileage. Anyway, she begins the massage and we engage in some small talk and get to know each other a little bit. A few minutes in she says "your a nice guy, will you be my friend?" She went on to tell me that she needs to improve her english and she has no-one to talk to and help her. I agree of course and she gave me her phone number. The massage was just a massage, not much beyond. She wanted me for a friend and I suspect didn't want me to have a low opinion of her. After that we talked on the phone a few times and made plans to meet. That never happened and we lost contact. Time went on and although I knew she was still around, whenever I tried to find her she wasn't working. I had thought of calling but figured she's likely forgotten about me.

Well, several days ago, after some encouragement from a "sometimes poster" on this board, (you know who you are...) I decided to revisit. I called and found out she was working and headed up to see her. A little nervous about how this might go, but anyway I arrived and was led to a room and waited for her to arrive.

A knock on the door. She walks in. Her eyes open wide and her mouth drops open. She was shocked to see me. She says excitedly, "You remember me, remember we used to talk on the phone, remember ..." A split second reaction. She remembered, she was genuinely happy to see me. Just like old times. Phone number, email address, tears (not mine) and promises to keep in touch. We will.

So no massage review on this one. There was none. No extras to talk about. There were none. And no dollar amounts to report. She wouldn't take any. We spent the half hour or forty minutes catching up on the time we missed.

I realise this probably doesn't have much meaning for most of you but I enjoy writing about and thinking back on that moment when she walked in. Her reaction was priceless. So if you're ever in that same situation and you've left someone behind that you'd like to see again. Do it, it can't hurt, and may turn out to be a good moment.

And please, no guesses about who this might be because I won't respond to them.

... but really, aren't you feeding our illusion? Do most MPAs see us as friends? I wonder ... and I'm not so sure that entertaining those thoughts are really healthy in the long run (there have been many discussion on this board about getting too close) ... maybe it is best to always be in the moment. If it happens, great, but I would not go looking for it. This is just my humble opinion. However your entries were very well written and thoughtful.

No, I think most MPA's do not see us as friends. I would guess that in the last five or six years I have seen probably over 50 different MPA's. That would only be 10 different ones a year. It must be much more than that, maybe a hundred. Out of those, this was the first that I ever made contact with outside the MP. Since then, one other. Very few I would even remotely think of as friends. I don't think that's unhealthy. I don't go looking for it and am usually more 'in the moment'. But sometimes along the way you meet someone who is a little different from the rest. Why I don't know. But I won't turn someone away who is genuinely in need of a friend, and I think she is. I'm talking friend in this case, not lover. So no illusions.

btw i always wanted to see serena at HFH and never did - maybe Sunday at BP ?? Hoping to make it.

I e-mailed BP this morning to see which girls would and wouldn't be there. The response was that all 20 girls will be working that day.

I'm still deciding whether to book an appointment, then show up a little before it and meet some of you guys, or wait till I get there and see who is available. The problem is that there are really only 2-3 that I really want to see (and a few more that would be nice), so its a tough decision.

hmmm...I was pm-ing with a lady not too long ago...started off nicely but started to slowly dwindle to nothing...

my opinion...don't get friendly with mpas unless they initiate the idea of friendship as well as carry it forward...there's no sense in trying to build something that will never be completed...in any shape or form...and really to build this kind of friendship is gonna take a couple of dollars to say the least...
