Review: Sincere Holistic

Was driving down Victoria Park recently, and finally decided to stop by a Massage Parlor I had always wanted to check out. It is located on Victoria Park, between Lawrence Avenue and Eglinton. The place is situated on the 2nd floor of a two-storey building that is part of a strip mall on the west side of Victoria Park. You can see a neon sign labeled "MASSAGE" and another labeled "OPEN", on one of the 2nd floor windows.

Walked up the stairs and down the small hallway until I arrived at a door that was already slightly ajar. I opened the door, and was greeted by an older (early 40's) chinese MPA dressed in a tight fitting dress.

I asked for a 30-minute session and was taken to a small room with dim lighting.

The same MPA (I'm guessing she was the only one working there) came back to start the session. I enjoyed the 30-minute session, with all the added bells and whistles.

If you are in the area, its worth dropping by there..

If it's not a licenced body rub then you should be leary . They have no buisness offering any adult massage, there licence does not allow it and as far as I am concerned should not even be able to post illegal holistic centers on this site .I am sure I will get allot of flack for this but I realy don't care .My goal is to make the point that regardless of were ever you go make sure it"s a licenced body rub parlour read the by-law educate and protect yourselves these places will soon cause a serious problem to the industry as a whole.I don't mean this peticular location but any holistic centre,Cause I sure as f--- dont go there for Shiatsu and there for have no buisness in this section . Thank you tired of the lies

Unfortunately, I forgot to ask to inspect their license before entering the premises. Also, I do not have a copy of the by-law handy, so I cannot confirm if the services rendered were in accordance with what is written in the by-law.

However, the MPA appeared skilled and knowledgable in her trade.

Let me give you some idea what's in the bylaws for holistic places.

First of all, they are not 'Massage Parlours'. They may offer massage as one of their modalities of treatment, but it's not supposed to be the whole bundle. The bylaws specifically state that the client is supposed to have his/her 'private body parts' covered at all times and that the treating attendant must no wear any 'revealing' clothing.

The 'happy ending' you guys always look for is enough to get the license pulled, and N, NR & BS are totally not allowed.

You should remember these facts in your posts since LE and by-law read these pages too.

For the record, there are only 25 body rubs in all of Toronto. The rest are either holistic or unlicensed.

In the same plaza is the Armenian Kitchen. A little restaurant that makes good food at a good price and some of the best lentil soup in the city.

Support who ever you want I gave an honest opinion and I also mentioned other licenced spas and there is not 25 theres 32. If you want more info google search body rub laws for all the lawyers postings. Here is a couple in metro Blue pearl, Josephines, sunshine, golden touch, alpha care, body bliss,Studio 9,and many more it's public knowledge and as for the happy ending there was a precedent set in Newmarket. I choose to educate myself and try to help not hinder my fellow massageplanet.netites and keep the buisness in prospective give your money to whom you please this was informative so to protect those precious people who try there best to keep this service above board .Thank you to all the owners of licenced body rub parlours who are fighting for our rights and there's.
