Just some generalities.

I've used this board for a) finding out what to expect when I visit a girl; b) finding out "news" as to who's gone where and who's new, etc.

Generally speaking, I've found that the girls I most like are relatively well liked by you on average. But surprisingly perhaps, I'm almost always disappointed in the girls that are the highest rated here.

Take the best of _________ bunch of posts, for instance. Almost in every case, the top 3 or 4 at any given spa according to the polls aren't in my top 3 or 4. In fact, in one recent case, I'm simply stunned that a particular girl didn't make it to the finals. Her reviews here have always been good; she's skilled; she's relatively young; she's stunning, tall, slim; she's sexy; and she's willing to do a lot.

Now if that were my only disagreement with the group, I'd just chalk it up to different strokes for different folks. But the fact is, this has happened each and every time - and continues to happen with these polls.

Well, it's possible that there are people just fucking with these polls - creating various nics and voting for themselves or their favourite time and again.

That's possible. But I don't think that explains the whole picture. The fact is I see girls here well reviewed that are simply being overrated. And I've seen girls here made controversial, though the controversy seems to be over nothing.

Maybe we all have different scales - but to me, the highest scores should be going to those stunning hotties known for skill, attitude, and playfulness (where a component of playfulness is the extras stuff we aren't allowed to acknowledge).

Almost as often as not, when I've seen a girl because she was recommended by someone on massageplanet.net, I've been disappointed. They weren't total failures. But god, you overrated them.

So I'm curious. How good do you find these reviews? Are they always a good guide for you? Do you always get what you want? Have you had disappointments?

I mean I know my own taste is exquisite. How can you guys be wrong?

Different strokes (sorry) for different folks. Some prefer sensuality over sexuality. Degrees of extras. Conversation or lack thereof. Mature or young. Everyone sees it differently. I tend to take the reviews with a grain of salt, and probably like middle of the road women best. Maybe my expectations are too high with the highly rated ladies. Case in point, I recently saw two ladies at Allure (on separate occasions). One one is more definitely my type in looks, and better looking, if I repeat it would be with the other because we clicked better. Nothing wrong with the first, she was great, but just something intangable with the other.

Reviews should always be taken lightly, they are after all one persons opinion and whos to say you and that person dont have completly different tastes.
I'm relativly new to massageplanet.net and the many experiences that a large number of you have already experienced.

For me, its still easy to be blown away or really impressed with a new technique or trick from the mpa. you can see in my reviews, when I enjoy myself I do perhaps get a little excited or carried away, but for the most part I'm playing catch up to the senior reviewers and I'm experiencing previously positive reviewed girls.

when I do TOFFT it's usually not a very pleasant experience, and I have to admit I find it hard to be negative to a girl, that was nice and I felt was actually trying. so dont expect me to ever really put someone down unless they REALLY deserve it(rip off, not as advertised kind of thing).
the only additional thing I can add about my reviews is that I do try to be fair and objective I point out positives as well as negatives, when I get excited about a girl, it shows in my review and additional comments I may make on threads.

The polls I run are a little selfish in nature, it's my way of getting up to speed quickly on whos hot and whos not. is it foolproof? hell no, but it's a pretty good reflection on the tastes of the average guys on massageplanet.net and I believe serve a pretty good purpose for newbie and senior massageplanet.netite alike.
there will always be a certain amount of manipulation on polls and that has to be considered when you view them, but more often than not you wont go wrong with a polled top 10 mpa.

Time will mellow my reviews, but right now I'm still a kid in a candy store, wanting to try ALL the treats available.

I respect and trust the reviews of IL, VBB, TLM, GD, OG, BigM, FC, Z69 and a few others not coming to mind right now

Simply proves that there is a wide variety of tastes and opinions on what constitutes "BEST". Its not a case of right or wrong, its an opinion which is as individual as a fingerprint.


Again, by your criteria this would get your vote. Looks alone, or service alone, do not make a popular provider. Alot of it is intangible or qualities that only become apparent to you once you become a client.


Perhaps you recognize a pattern developing? Your tastes run counter to that of the group on average. Use that knowledge to avoid providers who seem to win every poll.

In other words, things would be right in the world if only everyone would agree with you? We're all wrong... you're the only one who is seeing this whole controvery clearly?


So in spite of the fact that you continue to get "tricked" by the massageplanet.net Fake Review Conspiracy Team, you continue to fall for it? How many times does the ball have to hit you in the face before you raise your hands to catch it?


No one ALWAYS gets what they want. The value of the reviews is not so much a predictor of what will be an earthshattering experience as much as it is about avoiding ones that are most likely to be disasters. Every single member has had disappointments, we've all be ripped off, we've all found a hidden gem and we've all had various success using reviews as a guide. But the smart ones use them to better their average by avoiding the strikeouts. You seem to think they are some sort of crystal ball.


We all bow to your greatness. Just dont forget, you're still paying for it like the rest of us, and we seem to be having alot more fun at it.

So are you telling me that you're always in agreement with the reviews here? I think I'd find that truly interesting - in the clinical sense.

My motto in the past has always been to go in expecting nothing. Even if a review of the girl is over the top, I still went in expecting nothing.

As a result, the majority of the time I enjoyed myself. So if you are going to go see a mpa or a sp and have certain expections out of it other than to have a good time, you're gonna be disappointed big time most of the time.

But I'd be interested in how, having read a bunch of reviews, you could then go in not having expectations?

If you've used the reviews as part of your decision process how can you claim it hasn't impacted your expectations?

Silly me. I'll just make that realism adjustment and all will be fine. Don't know how I could have switched off that realism option.

I mean really - I'm so silly. Here I was going to see a girl because of a very favourable review having hopeful expectations! Golly, what was I thinking?

Anyway - let's forget my silliness for the moment - given your experience, have you come across reviews of girls that you thought were off base? If so, what percentage? If you answer those questions honestly, I think you will have answered my first.

P.S. - whether you want to or not, when you go see a girl - in fact when you go see anybody - you go in with expectations. And those expectations go up and down depending on what evidence is before you - they call this the reasoning faculty.

Keep in mind that many the most popular reviewers are also known to the girls or the spa owners. A bad session is unlikely unless the guy is a real asshole.

My expectations are, to go in and have a good time. I dont go in expecting to be pounced on, dfk'ed, rimmed and god knows what else. If the girl's massage is terrible, I showed her how to do it better and that usually made all the difference in the world. Communication between you and the lady is what makes the session good or enjoyable and I've been lucky enough to enjoy the vast majority of my visits.

Thats what I mean about staying realistic with your expectations. I know for a fact that every guy is treated differently by the lady depending on how she relates to him. I've heard of one guy going all the way and the next guy getting the brush off with the same girl.

When one guy says oh I got dfk with so and so and you go in expecting the same thing, you're in for a major disappointment. It's not a realistic expectation, unfortunately for many guys, thats all they hear and want.

Most mpa owners that knew me also knew that I didnt like the girls knowing who I was. I felt it compromised the entire session and may have made some girls nervous.

I'm still a strong believer in that no one should be discussing review boards with the girls, especially when its a first visit.

I don't want to be such a prick, but going in and expecting nothing (your first claim) isn't the same as going in and expecting to have a good time (your last).

I'm hoping everyone goes in expecting to have a good time. Those expectations will be influenced by reviews you (we; they) read. It's only natural. Good reviews will raise your expectations. Bad reviews will lower them (or change your mind!).

I'm just pointing out that my likes and dislikes have a difference from the norms - where the norms are indicated by the reviews and polls here. And I'm guessing you experience a difference from those norms too.

There's different ways to measure this. Look at the various polls, for instance. Was your top girl amongst the top 3 or 4? If not, isn't that interesting? If it never is, isn't that more interesting? Just an example.

Poll results can be skewed sometimes. There are some people who will actually take the time to vote more than once with fake handles.

I think with the top girls sometimes your expectations are set higher because of the buzz recieved that they can't live up to it.

My favourites are well reviewed and have their followings. Are they the most popular girls? No.

So you have to also look at why certain girls are the most popular.....
a) looks..... maybe she's not your type
b) service/mileage.... ymmv
c) great personality..... you don't click
d) good massage skills..... you are looking for b)
e) they are good at marketing themselves by coming on massageplanet.net or attaching themselves to well known massageplanet.netites
f) shills
g) very vocal massageplanet.netites happen to be fans

The point is that there are many reasons why a girl might be popular and unfortunately for each reason there's a counter reason why she might not be a good fit for you.

The way I look at it is that reviews are meant to increase your odds of a good session and hopefully steer you away from bad choices. But at the end of the day reviews just help make the odds in your favour but there's no guarantees.

Everything has to be taken with a grain of salt given that for all you know the poster could be a owner, friend of the mpa, the mpa, or shill.

If you want to mince words with me, be my guest.

I've been partaking in the hobby a long long time, maybe you can learn something from my wisdom that I tried to impart into you but obviously you know better. So thats fine. I dont hobby much if at all anymore so it doesnt matter to me if you read the reviews of a girl and decide you want to see this girl because she dfk'ed one guy and stuck her finger in another guy's ass. Or that this girl offers DATY and that one is suspected of offering BJ's.... Ya thats exactly why I go see the girls in the first place.... Thanks for the lesson.

While a lot of the attention has gone towards the girls what about the guys?

Obviously we work into the equaiton as well.

Your personality, hygeine and approach also affects the sessions.

Not saying that this is the case with you TQM but just throwing it out there that how one treats the girls also plays a role in all of this.

My point is that we are often quick to blame the girl but often forget that her job is tough and that faking being excited to be in the room with us is not always possible.

I mean let's look at the top vote getting girls. Usually they are hard to book so in a 6 hour shift they are seeing anywhere from 6 to 12 guys and even the best probably have a tough time maintaining that illusion for the whole time.

MPA owners like to get as many guys through the door so sometimes girls will be tired with little or no break between guys. And maybe something that might seem insignificant to us might set them off if it's been a tough or trying day.

Now in bringing up this topic let's please try and stay on the topic of why our experiences with a popular girl might not turn out as good as hoped...... there are already plenty of other threads that divide people into the pro and con side of MPAs and their job.

I find that it depends on the reviewer and the review.



They are not ALWAYS but they do provide a reference.



Never walk in expecting and try to make the most out of the session.



Sure its all a part of the game even repeating after a great session to walk into a nightmare ... you go with the roll of the dice.
