I need help in understanding room fee
Some one throw me a frickin bone

An RMT working at a MP w/o room fees get half the rate + tips 1 hr she gets 40 + tip
Some , and there are sum that get all the extras ie 40 hr + 60 tip for a HJ 100 not bad for 1 hr work
In a MP that has room fees 1 hr 80 goes to the house and she gets tips only ,
She gets 60 for 1 hr work. HJ
Why do these ladies who supply more than a massage pay the house over 50 % of their services

No choice. Some are not there of there own free will .

It isn't much better with the "strictly professional" providers. Generally, they still give up almost half of their fee to an owner, and get lower tips.

BUT, as far as extras go:
It's still not exceptable that most of the time, you guys are lucky to get 5 minutes for a basic h.e. That's an extra 40 plus for essentially the five minutes in the middle or end. Tips would make sense, if most would make the h.e. as great as the massage itself.
Just watch "lingam" massage videos, and you will see how much time they should be spending on it.

The flip side of high tip costs:
Many ladies only get a few customers a day. And somedays 1 or none.
Thus, they feel the need to be firm at the tip price, usually around 50 plus. (HOWEVER, ALL THE MORE REASON TO MAKE ALL ASPECTS OF THE SERVICE...GREAT!!)

In Edmonton, the market is starting to get saturated. Without offering extras, it may get harder and harder for ladies to make a living at their profession...at least as independent, or on commissions. It seems nowadays, strictly legit providers should work out a guaranteed wage of 20 plus dollars an hour with tips, (if they can get it.)

The sad part is: massage schools brag about the 80 dollar an hour charge, but don't prepare RMT's for the actual realities of the profession.

I have walked into many Amp's where the place is empty .
Unfortunately the ladies are making nothing. If I guy wants a legit massage the house gets 80 and the ladies get a tip of about 20
A guy wants a release the house gets 80 and the ladies get a tip of about 60
that is unfair with the places that charge room fees .

Establishment have bills to pay to. Whether legit or AMP. Advertisement, heat, water, electricity, leases, paper admin costs, linen and towels, detergent, cleaning supplies, license etc. Costs a lot to run a place. The ladies always decides: focus on giving the massage day in and day out, collect the agreed wages and go home, or run the place yourself with all those logistics and still have to give massages as that is your revenue source. All the others are expenses.
I have never been to massage school so I cannot comment on whether these were ever taught to the students.

Most places give 50/50 on the fees plus the mp will keep the tip.Some places take more and the mp less but some will take $30 and the mp $50 of the fee and then tip on top.
The market is nowhere close to being saturated in Calgary when you see mps not only surviving, but thriving while giving poor customer service and massages.
