oh i'm asian through and through. I normally never have problems getting into anywhere so long i can speak to them in person. it just takes persistence on my part since i haven't mastered mandarin.

Were you "talking" to her or questioning her? What was the cross street? A non-Asian walking into a ktv with hostesses usually gets the cold shoulder if they are not with an Asian group.

has anyone heard of a new members only ktv near northern blvd? i have to stop by again and grab the name. i couldn't get in despite my horrible mandarin. but i am always intrigued by these establishments. is it the fact they don't have a liquor license? i am just theorizing the managers paranoia when i was talking to her.

On the UES in the 50's, there are these discreetly located doors up along the avenues with Japanese lettering. Curious (and hoping to find something), I stumbled into a few around 3 years ago looking for some UTR Japanese spas. Instead, I found multiple hidden but fairly obvious (if you're looking for them) Japanese bars scattered in the upper 40's to 50's. All of them immediately spoke to me in Japanese - which I do NOT understand. And in one place, there were 2 hot girls sitting at a bar just looking awesome. I was denied entrance in all of them.

I seriously considered learning how to speak basic Japanese for a short while just so I could get in and see what these bars were all about. Sadly, I'm too lazy and can only say "Domo Arigato Mr Roboto."

I have been to several rs places over the years and it always comes out to 3 bills.. it is different than other massage places because 1. It's mostly just light contact, talk, and drink, and 2. You can easily spend 3-4 hours for the money. Is that worth it? Everyone is different so I can't say but I have fun whenever I go. The girls really don't speak English well so language does become an issue. I think the girls are mostly in the early 30's... having said that, I have seen some hot 20's working in places in nj.

If you must know you will be broke and end up with nothing at these places it's no mp or anything sexual !
It's for older married men who is financially stable to drink with girls in there 20s to 30s for a night and go home to there family. This is not a BS report it's nothing special, there are some party girls you will find in these places but they r rare and the the quality of the girl ain't that great most of the times. Save your money and you will be better off getting a nut in city at a mp. If you r none Asian they usually don't like to bring you in, cause of the language between girls and you not other reasons like mentioned here! Or the LE reasons they don't know who you are. If you r not a believer go and find out for our self. Have fun and be safe.
