Santa Rosa police continue to crackdown on illicit massage businesses. In a public meeting this past Tuesday, city officials went into details on addressing trafficking as well as propose several new regulations to address the issue. Police also updated the public on the stakeouts of two business, afterword they contacted 5 patrons. Three of them admitted to paying for sex acts. They were given education materials on commercial sex crimes and human trafficking. Police will continue to monitor suspected illicit massage businesses and their patrons.
This comes just days after three women, believed to have been trafficked, were rescued from a massage business.
