I just wanted some opinions on a client of mine. I did my second treatment on her last night, she is very tense in her shoulders and back esp the upper trapezius.
I sense this is mostly emotional as she is only 18 ( and the youngest sibling) yet she is the whole support network for her large family, her mum has psycological problems therefore my client runs the household. She is a dental nurse so part of the tension could be put down to her work position.
Her left side is more painful than the right, but both shoulders are solid, i've never felt such tension on one so young.
She descibes the pain as a sharp pain when i touch it, any opinions on this? I am working with neuro-muscular technique as i feel the soft touch is needed with her.
We are having weekly sessions of 30 minutes. I have advised her to take time each day to sit calmley and focus on her breathing to help relax her.
