She suddenly started to text me and chat with me more?

I know a girl for a while now, she is not my gf and she doesn't have a bf, we like each other a lot. She lost almost all of her friends lately as they betrayed her, then she suddenly started to text me and chat with more, even calls me more, which indicates that i the only remaining lovely and good friend. But I think she started to LOVE me more or like me much more as she started to touch me lovely touches even more.

Do you thinks she started to love me?
Do you think she wants to be her bf?
I am a bit shy to ask for a date, because she is my best friend and dont want her to understand me the wrong way or something.

I think that's really sweet.
I went through the exact same thing. And, finally, I liked him so much, I just asked him out. He said yes.
I'm guessing that since she's lost friends, she's lonely and needs someone to love. It's hard for me, knowing so little to tell you if it's love, but you never know
If you're really nervous, you might want to playfully work it into a conversation, and there will probably be no hard feelings or misunderstanding. I mean, hey, she's your friend right?
