Couple of observations.

1.Promoters should not get into a shouting match with customers. A lose lose situation. This is especially true of promoters like KJ and Jimmy. They love the ban option.

2. Girls talk (gossip). Many of their conversation gets lost in the translation. English not being their first language. If you can speak Mandarin or Cantonese you will know the difference.

Even if the customer is totally in the wrong and deserve to get banned by the spa, the promoter/owner can go about it in a "less-crazy" way. It's not illegal to the high road. Make it clear you're banning the customer and leave it at that.

The total melt-down by Jimmy made SL tainted for me. I wouldn't really consider it now. (I know SL doesn't need my business, just saying maybe the "promoter" is not doing the best job.

On the second point, there's no point for us to get on some moral high horse and criticize them for excessive gossiping. I do believe gossiping can often give unfair picture when it's talking behind someone's back and girls simply might instinctively paint themselves in a better light in story-telling. I mean, these are not some crimes, just human nature. But having said all that, after extending the consideration and grace to the girls, maybe consider extending some consideration to the customer/guy being gossiped about too. I'm not some psychologist, but my understanding is that you cannot simply take what they say literally. You actually have to perform some judgement yourself. You cannot put the burden on the girls to be totally truthful to you.

$200/day would keep most small spas afloat but of course they won't be happy with that...

But that's why you even see some 1 person spas staying open...assuming it's the owner working, she can make $200 per day with even 2-3 customers

Considering how they're a high revenue per customer business, it's always interesting in the fairly rare cases where promoter/owner have poor attitude toward customers.

Agreed, but there are a few customers that constantly troll or bad-mouth a spa, like just move on after you've made your point...

If it keeps happening then at some point, the promoter needs to take a stand...even if you ban them, some guys keep leaving shit emojis lol

3. Many here feel very entitled. Be real. You are but 1 customer among many. Larger Spas like SL West and Golden Wellness do very well moneywise for the owners. Smaller ones - those with 2 girls on duty not so much, but the girls do well.

Also, @Sundance69 - I know you hobby a lot in the west. I know you like to get close to the girls and owners. You offer them positive reviews. I do not think you get paid to write these - hence not a promoter YET. However, if they offend you in some way, - say like Golden Wellness you might offer less glowing reviews eg. Hinting that the spa and the girls only like the 30 minutes In and Out. No massage just Fun. That is a disservice to the Spa.

When I first saw michelle@iu, and wrote a review, I made a small comment about cold water. I didn’t expect it to amount to anything since it was just the heater was turned off. Somehow it exploded into something. A mea culpa and it would have been forgotten. Ahh well.

Not my place to speculate.

However, most owners with their limited English tend to believe their "promoters". Some do not come to this site at all. Trust me, I cringe when I read some of the replies (comments) from these promoters especially when I know and interact with the owners of these spas. Sometimes I ask them if they are aware of what is being discussed and they obviously have no idea. It is not my place to tell them what to do. Hopefully they will bring it up to the promoters themselves.

With high inflation and customers cutting back on their spa visits it is really sad to see these promoters creating all these Drama with their valued customers especially those who are obviously not just trolling.

yeah, this is the part I don't get at all. Like I don't go to take hot showers. If the girl was great I wouldn't even care if the water was cold. And most guys understand how hot water tank works so we're not just jumping to conclusions.

Like just say you'll look into hot water situation and it's done.

The massive over-reaction to negative reviews is why I was interested in the discussion. Like come on, show some class towards customers.

I think he means on the high end is 7-8 per girl per day...most small spas don't do that kind of volume.

The owner almost always gets at least $30 of the room fee, regardless of the session duration. Some owners are getting even more these days...probably justified too.

His math is likely assuming 7 x $30 per day which seems about right although depending on the location, some small spas have much less monthly expenses to deal with.

If the owner of a small spa works the room, the spa can make money with even less than 7 bookings per day...they won't be getting rich but they will be in the black.

Seems about right .....

From the spa persepective, 2 girls, 8 vistiors each, 16 per day, 240 per month .... $7,200 .... so girls premium girls may see 10 on good days, but the odd Tuesday 6 or 7 .... somewhere between $7K and $10K a month is about right.
Rent, heat, hydro, towels, cleaning, ads (ads here and on Leolist, most advertise both cost as well).

The girls, if you say 8 visitors, and 5 x 30 minute and 3 x 60 minute, make $140 .... tips, let's say in Oakville, average of $80 (some $60 and some $100) typical BS is $80 .... $640, total of $800.
Girls a few expenses, make, travel, Ubers, Cars etc, so they are good at what they do and work 50 weeks, the number is $200,000 (some will make $140,000 and some will make $240,000).
Long days, out at 9am, home at 11pm.

Some girls only work 3 days a week and see 10 customers a day (we know many like that), so they can still make a good living, considering this is a cash business.
The dog days of summer (or maybe Mothers Day, or Canada Day ... they might only see 4 or 5 customers).

Just some considerations, easy to see why they prefer to see their regulars, customers they like and get along with, repeat weekly (or more), they are good sales people.

In the original post, the claim is that b/c of whatever happened, Renee had to give out a refund of room fee. Ok, do you dispute that the refund happened? (It is extremely telling that you're not disputing these facts.)

Presumably, after what happened and the room fee refund happened, there's an opportunity within the spa to work out what happened. Renee could have went to the girl to ask exactly what happened that she had to refund room fee, after all, she literally lost money.

At this point, there's every opportunity to establish that harassment happened and that the customer must be banned. If that happened, there's no need for any arguments here. And I wouldn't be calling out your BS.

Instead, it is only after a complaint is made about service. And possible blame would be placed on the girl or the spa, that suddenly there's claim of harassment. Well, how convenient is that?

I went to see Echo at SL West the other day and had a great time.
I have gone to her several times and each time, I find her massage being better each visit

She's small and fit, but she can definitely provide a hard massage.
Echo greeted me very kindly and guided me to the massage table.
Through our one hour session, we would have a nice small talk about general things in life.
Her strength was great and I felt very relaxed afterwards.

As we got near the end, her teasing down under got me very excited.
Her touch went from strong to soft and sensual.
She would playfully brush her hands and body against my back until the flip.
As we faced it other, things got even more playful until I hit the climax.

I had a fantastic time, and would recommend Echo to anyone.
