I decided to make some little gift bags up for my family as christmas pressys. I started making the soap last nite but it was a bit of a disaster. I just bought Asda unperfumed basic soap and grated it. I put it over a pan of hot water and added 300ml water.The soap smells lovely but I could not get the lumps out of it. Alas I will have to use it myself as it is not very good to put in a gift bag.

Any ideas where I went wrong. Could it be the soap I used.
