Soap Moulds

I would like to have a go at soap making.Does anyone know where Ican buy reasonable priced moulds.

Heya - I'd like to try this too but haven't located any, I have some premade soap mix from amphora and intend to mix it with some of my oils, they didn't seem to have any moulds when I got the bits.. so would also be interested to know..

Forchristmas I make extended family members gifts (only because I can't afford to buy em all one) Last year I made bath bombs and mini soaps and presented them in a little wicker basket. I could't find moulds for love nor money (well not cheap ones anyway) but had the brilliant idea of using my ice cube trays. They are the rubber ones from ikea, which makes them easy to pop the soaps out, and they come in funky shapes (I favoured the heart shaped, and the stars).
Not the biggest soaps, but a nice gift basket size

Thanks Rose and Hopefull, I'll try Ikea, but think for me the Ebay ones might win out, cause I can order them now! Hmm.. decisions decisions..

PS Don't be put off by the caustic soda soap, its not as scary as it sounds

U can buy hand made soap moulds from G. BALDWINS & Co.

Thay also do soap flakes to make it easier when first begin to make soaps and have books to give you recipe idea's.
Just another option for you....

Hi You can get them from Aromantic.co.uk too I ourchased several different ones from ebay dennysmoulds.


Great fun to do and I find adding lavender and tea tree a great blend and aroma. Be careful though if you are not familiar with essential oils as they can be very potent.
