stroke oil advice

Hi there,

I am wondering if anyone can help me, i am looking for suggestions in help to make a bath oil for a person that recently had a stroke and so has severe weakness on one side of the body, they are also diabetic. Hope someone can help me on this one, thought i would ask advice before blending

what kind of medication are they on?

I'd perhaps consult a dr first.....

hi...................personaly i would not use oil in the bath of someone who has a stroke and has a weaknesss as the oil would make it dificult for them to stand up etc.................a masage would be a beter idea to improve muscle tone on their weak side as wel as geting them back in touch with themselves but of course first you need to check out contraindications.esp warfarin etc also wasthe stroke due to high bp............or wasit a clot.was the clot a "one of" or did it break of from a larger clot..............dont be afraid of treating just make sure yopu know al the facts x

Also bear in mind that a stroke is not necessarily always a clot - could be a bleed.
