Hey everyone, I've just come back from a 'back clicking' session at the osteopath. She recommended I get a support to help my posture when I'm sat in the office. The trouble is there's so many available I don't know where to start. I've had a look on the internet and so far have come up with the below....

Hi Caz,

Your employer should have a health and safety officer (or department) who you should be able to speak to. They should check your desk and seating position and ensure it meets legal requirements, and if you have any special requirements they may be able to sort those out for you (especially if you have been diagnosed with a back problem by a doctor). They may even have their own list of approved suppliers of chairs and back supports that they use.

Other than that, it would be a case of try 'em and see. (so perhaps see if the companies do a "satisfaction or money back" guarantee first).

Thanks Energylz, my company is only small so we don't have a health and safety dept as such. I'll go back to the ones I've found and check if any have a returns guarantee. Fun and games eh ha

Think in a realistic way, which would you really use, and every day? Supports to me are no where near as good as the proper chair, and also desk height. What are you sitting on?
