The "SEARCH" Feature ???

Anyone else having problems with the search feature ??? It says the moderator has disabled it.....And then when I ask a question I get in SHIT for NOT using the search....????

I can explain everything. The search function has been disabled by the administrator.

An exception will be made for anyone not using the search function, until it is enabled again.

Because of increased demand on the system its been turned off until the issues are dealt with.

Its a choice between allowing massageplanet.net to function without overheating and shutting down or allow it to operate with a few options turned off.

Usage has gone through the roof lately. We used to average 10,000 unique visitors/day now its 13,000.

Just bear with us until the admin has figured out what needs to be done to rectify the demand problems.

After careful analyisis of this problem, I intend on refraining from use of the search function. Once the functionality of this function has been restored, I'll resume using it.

I say charge user a fee and expand to bigger and better server. We all spend ridiculous amounts of money on services we learn about from here. Why not give a little bit more back.

Aries, I tend to agree with your point, nothing wrong with charging a nominal fee for a fantastic service like massageplanet.net. It was your last comment however that I'm really responding to - "just a thought - u can flame me now". I had to chuckle when I read it, because isn't it interesting that unless you are going to write a glowing review or make a comment that is totally benign, you flinch in anticipation of the flaming.

I have another idea! How about all the MP owners and MPAs who profit so handsomely from massageplanet.net chip in? I realize that there are some spas/escorts/etc who pay for advertising but the word-of-mouth from massageplanet.net is almost priceless.

If something has to be chopped, I suggest the PM function. Guys can always email each other if they want to chat. The search function is pretty necessary for full use of the board though.

I agree with Ogre on that one. Looking to set something up tonight and have it narrowed down to a few choices but unless I want to manually comb massageplanet.net and hope to find what I am looking for the search would be great. PM'S take up space and the search is way more practicle.

I would but everytime I mention that I am member of massageplanet.net there seems to drop in temperature in the room. I just keep my identity quiet.
However I do think MPs should advertise and I think we as members should pay a small fee. Both parties would benefit. Plus it may help ease the tension from the servers as you would have less lurkers and more positive contributors.

Just a thought.

Hi Guys,

I need help please. I logon to massageplanet.net using my id and password but when moving between threads or switching to different sections, the logon screen keeps coming up and asking me to re-logon eventhough I already signed in. Sometimes, pressing Refresh button on the web browser resolves the problem, but other times I cannot get pass the logon window unless I re-logon again.

Does anyone experienced the same thing?

Thats because you have your cookies turned off. Go into your user cp settings and adjust them accordingly.
