Three women believed to be survivors of human sex trafficking were rescued last week by Santa Rosa police and community advocates. The Press Democrat reports that during one of four inspections of massage parlors on October 9th, officials encountered the women, none of whom were state-certified massage therapists. The business where the women were was ordered to shut down due to code violations. No arrests have been made and the business hasn’t been publicly identified as police as trying to determine connections to other illicit massage businesses.
