VTCT Aroma/ massage! How long should it take?

Hello All,
Just trying to sort a few things out....
Could anyone let me know how long a aroma/massage should take? ie consultation and after care...

I can only tell you how long my aromatherapy massage takes ........... not sure about others.

I suppose it is 'how long to book out in the appointment book' that you want to know???

my aroma massage takes 1 hour and 15 minutes (as taught at college) but I always allow 2 hours as I like to make the client feel relaxed before the massage............ a good consultation and time to blend the oils.......... time for the client to undress and get on the couch. then after the massage I don't like the client to feel as though they are being pushed out of the door and I like to get some feedback about the massage if possible.

then of course I need time to open windows, change bedding and get ready for the next client................ so I feel that 2 hours appointment time works well for me and the way I like to work.

others may be totally different

Thanks for your reply...it sounds very inviting.... Ive just been told we are going to be learning to an aroma massage which is going to take 90 mins... plus consultation and aftercare a total of two hours...... wow
How many clients want to or have the time to have a two hour treatment?

How long should it take? In the usual world - as long as the client needs. (plus or minus 1hr 15mins hands on); In the VTCT Assessment world - as long as your Assessor/Tutor has prescribed as you all need to be doing approximatley the same thing for ease of Assessment and happiness of the Internal Verifier.

Do not fret. It is not as bad as you think. The treatment time flies by and the treatment itself is fantastic. I haven't done one for nearly a year now but when i did it at the salon, my clients melted and said that they have never had a treatment quite like it before, so your in for a real treat receiving and learning it.
