Hi,
I would like to comment on the article published, with the Australian Aboriginals using Tea Tree for absolute centuries, why haven't the Australian or even the NewZealands made a comment of the harmful effects of this said oil?
It is fair enough for the US researchers to conduct studies into the claim of gynaecomastia - the growth of breast amongst boys. So why is there not similar studies in Australia and New Zealand regarding this matter? Maybe the US are trying to find some kind of fault else where regarding this disruption of hormonal inbalance when reallythey have to look intoother artificalingredients that is in their so unhealthy food products because obesesity has been known within the US for years, far longer than in the UK plus including their sedentary lifestyles they lead.
New Zealand uni have made numerious studies over the years (check them out from Google search) to find out yourself that it is used within New Zealand and Australian Hospitals for its anti-sepic properties with no outbreaks at all, of the deadly MRSA virus within these 2 countries. Including beauty products that contain Tea tree to combat acne & spots for example have not had any bad press from these countries.
Having said that, my son who is 15, has beenusing Likismas teen care duo which is a facial wash & spot stick containing Tea tree for well over a year and let me tell you he has no breasts or had any complaints at all except with its wonderful use to cure his spot problem every so often.
Thats my words on the subject, be glad to hear from others regarding the use of Tea Tree Essential Oilwith their own findings and results.
