It's kind of interesting! Also, if you are an introvert, it gives you a way to tell someone personal stuff and get advice without anyone really truly knowing your secrets. It also opens your mind to stuff you'd never found out about before. But it's also sometimes creepy. Depends who you talk to.

At one point the people you're associated with were just random people.
It's entertaining.

it depends.
sometimes ppl get online and look for someone to chat with to kill time
or to flirt with them for fun.. or ask them for advices on very personal isseus anonymously
or there's predators who lure kids into coming to their houses for their sexual pleasure.

if u are lucky, u will meet a normal nice guy/girl and have a grea time.
if u are not so lucky, u will end up talking to a predator/ perv / sociopath.
