What to add

Hi guys

I do sports and remedial massage. I've found an oil i like to use "Biotone Clear Results Oil". It has no real smell to it, but i'd like to add something to it to give it some. It's says its compatible with essential oils.

What could i addto it?

Check to see what the oil is made from. As long as it is a vegetable based oil and not mineral, then it should be OK to add some essential oils (max 5 drops per 10mls).

However, you need to be aware of the various properties and contra-indications of essential oils - they are more than just a nice smell.

Kinda copying a massage balm I like, I'd like to add some/all of the following.

Clove
Lavender Extract
Eucalyptus Oil
Rosemary Oil
Camphor Oil

But figuring out how much of each to add, to get it right will not be easy i guess.

To be quite honest, if you're not an aromatherapist, you're probably not insured to be blending the oils for use on your clients.

I would be dubious about the blend you intend to use, with epileptics or anyone pregnant. The point of blending essential oils, is to make an individual blend for each client's needs. If you intend to use a general muscle blend, then you're probably best to buy a pre-blended one. Then you are covered by their usage instructions.

Camphor is a banned oil.
If you are not qualifed in AT ...don't practice it as you can be sued.
