Guys be careful.

Star Studio may be divulging your information if there is an inquiry.
My SO was emailed by someone and told that I had visited Star.
I believe someone at my job has it in for me, so they may have followed me.
They emailed my SO with the phone number for Star.

She called Star and started asking about my visits!
She pretended she was my secretary and tried to book an appt. for me.
There are things she has said to me that no one else would know.

I have called Star and asked them to NOT supply any information about my visits to anyone who asks.

Just wanted you guys to know so you can be VERY careful.
This has made me rethink my decision to even visit an MP!!!

Everybody should know that Star Studio has call display.. I found this out when I called to book an appt... the girl who answered (not a regular MPA) recognized my name.

I'm single and live by myself so it isn't as much of a problem, but many others should take note.

That said, I don't know if Star is much different than any other place. If you see multiple MPA's at the same spa under your own name, word will get around.

At that point you're hoping every employee will exercise good judgment... obviously not this time around.

Perhaps you divulged too much information at Star? The other possibility is that someone here on massageplanet.net is screwing you.

That's what just avoid such spa's and visit only the known and trusted spa's like Allure/HFH! 100% privacy is maintained at these establishments, & gooscustomer service is also on their card
If u visit B/C class spa's then your privacy is not guaranteed at all, & its a high risk the the client to get nabbed even by LE's at such places.

Sorry about your mishap.
Many things must have gone "wrong" for this to happen. Some how, you must still have divulged too much personal information to the "wrong people". I believe someone is trying to screw you by giving your Star visit info to your SO. By posting as your secretary, she must know what name you're known by at Star. If it's not your real name (your name appearing on your phone), someone must know it and have given it to your SO.
I am not sure how manyhobbyists use their secretaries to book their MP appointments. If so, how the person on the phone could get so liberal in giving out their clients' info. Your SO must be very good or the booking person very careless.
At the end, it's lessons learned and thanks for the warning. This could happen to any spa if the person on the phone is not careful.

Sorry... the only way this could happen is if you gave Star Studio you real first and second name... as well as address. And even if that happened... what would they tell your wife? That you book 1/2 hour sessions?

I like your other theory... someone at work is following you and trying to screw you. They are the ones telling your wife all this information. Either that or your wife has hired an private investigator to follow you around. Those theories are far more realistic... MP's are not that organized.

Because it is unrealistic. Do you really think they are going to tell his wife or secretary... or any person for that matter... what services he gets in the room? You guys are giving this place far too much credit. Paranoia is setting in.

As far as the name and the possibility of call display... I guess that's possible. But for someone in the hobby who is apparently trying to keep this information away from his wife... he's not being very smart with his privacy... use a pay phone.

Looks like your S/O is bluffing, the same way LE does when they tell a suspect "we know you did it, so you might as well fess up." The suspect then confesses to everything.
The appointment log shows there are a dozen guys named Mike, half a dozen named Tony or Tom, and so on. First names only. Real names? Seldom.
A lady called on Saturday and the call lasted all of 10 seconds. No information was (or even could be) given. The staff have no idea who the hell you are. And they're certainly not going to have any detailed conversation with an anonymous female caller!
That said, it sounds like someone is watching or following you. Good luck!

I agree, sounds like your wife has a few pieces of information and is just putting the pieces together with your help.
I will bet she found some info by going through your stuff (like phone bills or cell phone call registry) then claims she got an email so you don't know she is searching through your stuff. I doubt she even called the spa, but claims she did to pressure you into confessing.
You should just follow the basic rule concerning messing around outside a relationship. Deny Deny Deny. Even if your wife walks in on you having sex, just deny everything.

Pleeeeeeeeease tell me you're not this dimwitted. Follow along with me and see if you can connect the dots. If a sales person asks for your phone number, you can give them a FAKE phone number. If a phone girl asks for your name, you can give them a FAKE name. If a receptionist asks for your drivers license number you can give them a __________ (no, the answer is NOT "facial" or "donut".

I would never do it myself because I have nothing to hide, but if you have a slight case of dyslexia you *may* accidentally transpose the last two numbers on your DL when you read it to the desk girl.

I agree that it's also highly probable. Well it still depends on how many phone# on the cell bill look "foreign and suspicious" to his SO. Alternatively, the times of call on certain days may also raise suspicion. But remember, in his original post, he said

"There are things she has said to me that no one else would know."

So his SO was still able get out "critical" information from someone. Don't forget, someone still has to be able to match up client John Doe with the name registered on the cell. Of course, it would be easy if client John Doe is John Doe. It still sounds like either the SO or her hired gun's detective work was bearing fruit

One last note:

I've been told on a couple of occasions that wives have shown up (in tears)at the MP to speak with the owners!

The client has been caught with a business card or something else incriminating and the wife puts 2 and 2 together.

... and yes, this was at HIGH END spas too...

When I was married my wife was the QUEEN of mind fuck. She'd say whatever she wanted to achieve the outcome she desired. I caught her lying a few times but it was easier just to let it go.

... especially when the alternative was guilt trips, temper tantrums and the "how dare you accuse me of lying" blah, blah, blah.

... so MrSauga's SO's story of an "email" may very well be bullshit.

It's hard to know what really happened in MrSauga's case but the lesson for everybody is to be careful.

I always try to divulge as little as possible about my private life at work. Close friends often end up being the ones who betray them.

I would deny the whole thing to your significant other and if she loves you she will eventually let it go. Similar situation happened to me a couple of years back. I told my SO something like "if I did go to this place do you think I would be stupid enough to use my work phone or cell phone to call or give them personal details knowing how easily it could be traced to me later. It's not worth damaging my career. These places get busted all the time and I wouldn't put myself in that kind of risk."

Destroy any cell phone bills or any evidence and definitely do not go back to star. I always use my cell to call the spas and I have my bill sent electronically. I print out the first page only since it doesn't include a listing of the numbers called.

If they have it out for you at work they can go through all your emails, track internet activity, and all calls. Never use these mediums for anything related to this hobby. It surprises me that there are guys on this board who post from work.

Digital tracking is amazing. I understand that even items, eg emails, "deleted" and "emptied" from the trash bin on your computer can still be traced, if needed. So just don't underestimate these things.

Being their regular & loyal client for over 3.5 yrears they dont ask for my driving licence, just they ask for the address (LOL) it may be for newbies or unknown clients, not their regulars, whose MPA's knows them by their names
