Which oils best avoided when taking homeopathic remedies?

As the title said... 'Which essential oils are best avoided when taking homoeopathic remedies'?

Thank you Cirrus .. those are the two I actually had but I was worrying that there were many more.

I know strong perfumes should be avoided when taking homoeopathic remedies so I was wondering about rose and sandalwood?

Hi Jen

Rose and sandalwood are fine. But just to add to your post I can remember my tutor telling use that many toothpastes are also contraindicated to homoeopathic medicine.

And here is an interesting fact that our tutor didn't mention! Eucalyptus oil if swallowed can be fatal, so definitely not one to allow children to get hold of. There are others of course, but I mention that one as it was one of our leading mandatory oils in college.

I did ITEC and there were 5 we were advised to avoid

peppermint
spearmint
black pepper
eucalyptus

cant remember the 5th one -= sorry

my homeopath says do not worry about anything,oils,toothpaste,coffee etc !!

I was taught to avoid Black pepper, Eucalyptus, Peppermint, and Rosemary esential oils if a taking homeopathic remedies.

We were taught that the following essential oils should be avoided when homeopathic remedies are used:

Black pepper, Eucalyptus, Peppermint and Camphor (not that we would use Camphor in a treatment anyhow)

Hi i am training at the moment and have read not to use aromatherapy with homeopathic remedies. What is the oppinion on this please?
