There are several book or movie characters with immature, childlike, or troublemaking personalities, which is a bad role model to children. These include Pippi Longstocking, George Beard and Harold Hutchins from Captain Underpants, Peter Pan, and Bart Simpson. It is great to have someone children can relate to, but if it is too unrealistic, it's not a good idea. Unlike the case of Pippi and Peter, you ARE going to grow up, whether you like it or not, and you can't always have fun. George, Harold, and Bart all misbehave and cause trouble, another unacceptable thing. If these behaviors are learned and copied by children, they will not be taken seriously or worse, they could get arrested. Why are these bad role models introduced to children?
