Woman accuses Massage Envy massage therapist of sexual battery in Kendall - WPLG Local 10

KENDALL, Fla. – A massage therapist was arrested Wednesday on accusations that he sexually battered a client at a Massage Envy in Kendall back in May, authorities said.

According to an arrest report from the Miami-Dade Police Department, the incident occurred on May 4 at the Massage Envy at 9014 SW 107th Ave.

Police said the victim fell asleep while receiving a massage from 57-year-old Rigoberto Cadavieco and woke up to him “digitally penetrating her vagina” against her will.

According to detectives, Cadavieco denied the victim’s allegation and made a statement on Sept. 3 that was fully redacted in the publicly released report.

Authorities said Cadavieco’s DNA was collected and impounded as evidence by Miami-Dade police detectives.

Jail records show he is facing one count of sexual battery on a victim 18 or older with no serious injury,

As of Thursday, Cadavieco is being held on a $10,000 bond at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
