Passed by Yonge & Shepard tonight and counted 5 massage/holistic centres, 4 on Yonge St and one just off - does anyone have info on which to visit and which to avoid??
I have done a search and Oriental Cats Eyes is mentioned a few times, mostly good stuff. Is this place and Sophies Day Spa one and the same? I have tried Sophies, saw Wendy for a really good basic massage - with no extras - but I would recommend! PM for more details if you like.
But what about the others.

Oriental Cat Eyes is the name used for advertising purposes,
Sophie's Day Spa is the name on the sign.

Girls seem to be rotated frequently.
Very much a hit and miss place for Asian MPAs...usually over 30y/o

Yes there are 5. Sophies/Cats Eyes and another Chinese holistic place in the same strip mall south of Sheppard. Two more on Yonge just North of Sheppard (one was called Vienna Health Spa I think) and the last one is just off Yonge on the West side North of Sheppard, I went in and they were just closing but told me to come back and it was the usual $40 for 30 min - not sure what that includes. I may try one of these places this week and let you guys know.

Buddy of mine sees a sweet Oriental lady up near Finch and Yonge (no extras). Would this be the same? Or are you talking about north of the Sheppard Centre before Finch. Interesting to see if extras are an option. Looking forward to a review.

This place is a legitimate spa (at least the half dozen times I went).

Very good decent massage and definitely no extras/finish offered. Think of it kind of like the Tuina and Chang Holistic. I imagine some people may be able to push for a finish and some may accept but that is probably far and few between.

There are a few women working during the day/early evening shifts. Only asian and very professional dressed/older looking spa attendants.

The Government building, attachment to Second Cup/food strip mall, Condos/apartments nearby and right off of the busy intersection nearing Yonge and Sheppard make it extremely high traffic.

You don't have to feel embarassed if you are really just looking for a good decent massage.

If you are looking for more, I imagine the other places mentioned can accommodate.

ok - last night went to this area and found.......
first went to Vienna - closed just after 8pm.
Moved south and checked out the new massage place in the same strip malla s Sophies/Cats Eyes. She was busy, but onlooks/attitude did not impress.
So went to Sophies. Tina was there, I had seen her brfore at Wendys spa (yonge/Eg) but not a good experience. Instead chose Anna - even older and not attractive but great attitude and very good massage. $30 for 30 min and asked for $10 tip - I would rather be able to choose what to leave, but $10 is nothing and it was worth it
So I would recommend Anna for good massage/finish (no extras).
If anyone tried other spas in this area let us know.......

Anna was a stalwart @ the Queen Street JunJun clinic.
I was surprised to find that she was @ Sophies.
Low milage, but as ranger86 says

Just an update, looks like Vienna got sold or the regulars are no longer there.

I was there about two weeks ago and returned last week only to find someone different seemingly running the show.

This area seems pretty dry.

I phoned there on Thursday. Two of the same girls I've seen for months are still working there. Amanda has gone back to China for vacation and has been replaced by Tifanny.

I seen all four of them for a really great massage. When I went past the hour and asked for "light" massage with both Kitty and Kim I got a good finish as well.

The address is 4810 Yonge St. Entrance is on the side street just north of the federal building and right behind second cup. The spa is located on the second floor. It also has a great big neon sign on the outside that you can't miss.

WOW.

I just went to 'Sophie's(Yonge and Sheppard) after hearing some of the guys here mention they were connected to Wendy's at Yonge and Eglinton. Always in search of the massage more than the eye candy, I have since enjoyed a few amazing sessions here too. Both Tina and Susan seem to have an intuitive and trained hand at feeling where the major issues lie, with the added bonus of an enjoyable ending.(They charge $30 for half an hour as opposed to $25 at Y+E)They have one lady who specializes in pressure point massage, but I prefer the hands, wrists and elbows on approach.

I entered the room, freshly showered(Nice clean shower available) She must have heard me hit the freshly washed sheets as she walked in quite promptly and asked me which of the essential oils I preferred. What would you like, I asked her? We chose Lavender. I have paid for and have had insurance pay for massages before, but this was overwhelming. As I lay for a half hour, I weakly burst out a request for the full hour. There was no way I could possibly let this pleasure end so soon. Each muscle, which I had forgotten since early biology was dutifuly apprehended. And subdued. Just when I thought I couldn't enjoy a massage any more, I learned my calves and feet were enjoying the attention too. When they say full body, they aren't joking. So then I managed to turn over. At which point I was rendered incapable of typing........

So I cross the road to the Keg, had an enourmous steak with copious amounts of protein and .... ready for more....

I saw Anna recently and she is certainly enthusiastic, Not beautiful but not bad except for the stretch marks. Nice tits of the natural kind - medium B's . I didn't push the envelope , but she never stopped my wandering hands. Promised a good massage and certainly complied. Just asked for a good tip. Door fee was $30 for 30 minutes and I gave her another $20( no specific amount requested) for going above and beyond the call of duty. Nice massage; nice tits; nice lady, and; nice price.
