York Cops getting serious - More Busts!

York Regional cops busted Red Bean in Markham and "Fox Health"" on Yonge in Thornhill last Friday.

Watching York's work over the past 18 months and noticing a real big drop in the number of MP's in York I think these guys are really, really serious about wiping out MP's in York.

FWIW, they say in their press release "In 2005, the Drugs and Vice Enforcement Bureau will increase its investigations into illegally operated
massage parlours and will continue to investigate acts of prostitution occurring within. The public is reminded that prostitution-related activities occurring within body-rub parlours and adult entertainment establishments
are illegal and customers who choose to participate are subject to criminal charges and prosecution themselves."

I've noticed in the last few busts that they have indeed been charging clients as found-ins. Used to be that they'd hand you your pants, tell you to get lost and don't come back. Now they are most certainly arresting the customers too!

Even since their recent busts I often pop into 400 Creditstone or the one on the corner of Jane/#7 on the chance that there might be a hidden gem with high mileage available.

After seeing the names publicized I think Ive been lucky but 'm about done with anything in York but HFH and IT.

Why are cops waste time on these mickey mouse operations?
Spend more time on violent youth crimes (Jail time won't help. public humilation to the Nth degree will. Picture you are a teenager and all of a sudden you are not cool anymore. That's almost as bad as being someone's bitch in prision )
Spend time cracking down on the big guys on organized crime and the corrupted politicians. Wait. Can't do. That's too much work, ruffle too many feathers and take too long to yield results.

The massage parlors are an easy target for the cops and politicians, thats the bottom line.

Another thing, its being driven by jealous under-fucked house wives, you just try driving by a massage parlor with your wife or girlfriend in the car, and you see a big neon sign saying "FULL BODY SWEDISH MASSAGE & AROMATHERAPY", there is no way she is going to believe that all they do is massages...just mention it to any girl and they will tell you " oh thats so fuckin disgusting, bla bla bla"... And every time the husband comes home late from bowling, or he says he's got some extra paperwork in the office,she is thinking he is at the massage parlor. ANd when they file for divorce they call the cops and blame the massage parlor.

Now, if you drive by a strip joint, and you can tell her "oh honey all they do is dance naked on stage and its a place for the guys to go for a beer". And that can buy you some leaway with alot of girls. But a massage parlor, I think society views it a lot differently than peeler bars.

SO in conclusion, my theory is if everybody fucked their wives more often and came up with some better excuses to go get a massage, they would stop cracking down on a lot of these places.

What MP has been recently raided in Vaughan?
I've been open for 5 years.. never been raided.
I've had inspections, but never criminally charged, nothing has ever been removed from my establishment and I surely do not import young innocent girls from other countries and force them to perform sexual acts for their passport. I would be concerned too if I lived near these areas.

To you, it's the 'IT parking lot' and to others, but do you realize that there are 7 unlicensed mp's running in that same strip plaza?

It's actually the towns that ask the police to go in and lay charges or close down establishments... it's not as if the cops sit around and say, 'hey... we're bored.. let's go and bust a place.' It was the same here in Vaughan when I first got here.. there used to be over 300 places... now... there are only a few. I think that if places were a bit more discreet... things would be eaiser.

Understandable. Unfortunately... York Region covers Vaughan as well. So far... pretty quiet. But then like I said... we have hardly any mp's here anymore. I think that RH is more tired of the young girls being forced. I also think it's a shame for places like IT who are in the center of all the shit when Paul runs his business clean.

You notice that the increased LE activity coincides with the closing down of a well-known SC in Markham? It became a church. And by the way, Kayla, Vaughan is in York region. Whether you're licensed or not, if LE want to find something wrong with your place and the subject is body-rubs, they'll find it. So you might want to think of renaming IT or HFH "Olive Branch from Heaven" or "Touched by the Invisible Olive Branch." Seriously, though, what doesn't get reported in these media reports is that "body rub parlours" are licensed by the Cities for fees and the definition of body rub is never reported. The average joe or jane hasn't made the link that "stimulation, kneading, manipulating, touching of a body or part thereof" is ok in places whose owner paid about 10 G's per year to the City.

Why do they not throw everyone at youth crime?

Because they don't all have aptitude to do that work. They're not all interested in that. There are plenty of reasonable policing specialties, and, like it or not, they're going to have a few in vice.

Organized crime is hard to crack; takes years of work and considerable risk of the results simply evaporating. Corrupt politicians are tougher still, particularly when they may even sometimes do seemingly right things for seemingly right reasons.

The notion of civic politics not being corrupt is just silliness too. Land zoning policies have been a source of corruption likely for millenia...

Guess what the fools here publish details of extras and lazy LE with the donut guts just line-up their sights and go in for the easy busts.

Simple, get the captain off their back and generate P.R. by putting out a few condoms and money 'seized' in busts from probably years ago.

I never had good experience with cops however I'm siding with the cops. They are not doing things randomly nor it is done to stop MPs if you notice most of the bust that are made involves people in drug activities as well as individuals involve in Human trafficking.

If the city is really sincere about stopping MPs they would simply not renew the license or approved any new license but it's big money.

Benn, your heart is in the right place, but things are not always as they appear in the newspapers or on tv. Fact is they close down MP for a host of reasons, not just the ones that you have mentioned for, based on the circumstances that stated. Politicial reasons, corruption in some cases, attitude of some police and and other officials, complaints from customers for not getting the required amount of fun (by crime stoppers) ect. ects. It is almost unbelievable the ways that this business is effected, and certainly not just the drugs and underage girls ect. I am all for the closing down places that cross these lines, but there are many other factors involved and forces at work.
