I’ve spent industry standard and received what I expected, but tip very well even on the first visit. Actually feel I might have under tipped on occasion, knowing full well I’d make up for it on my return.
Somehow I am guessing the change in direction of this post is likely due to a person or group who try and sway the members impressions towards their businesses, masquerading as reviewing contributors.
Having said that It’s been said recently by others and myself in the past. Price is subjective. Pay what you are comfortable with and be happy with what that affords you. When the service dictates, tip well!
This hobby doesn’t have a menu, and those that explore this world expecting such will more than often be disappointed.
These are people with expectations. What they feel is worth their time with you is what they deem acceptable. Negotiate if you will but you only do you and others a dis-service.
Tip well when the service meets or exceeds your needs, and make a point of walking when the expectations are beyond your budget.
Other members have said it well. How can you question what others have been quoted without knowing what the services provided or offered may have entailed? Never mind that this isn’t fast food and maybe to the provider, your needs are with more to them! I’ve paid anywhere from $100-$240 for an hour massage and extras. My average is $140-$180. I’ve over paid on some, but mostly I pay what is asked, knowing my limit, paid it, and don’t complain unless I was completely ripped off. I don’t compare the ladies and their services, in that I don’t see Sunny and Cherry as the same, nor would I expect to pay the same regardless of what each offers. I just understand that their needs may not meet my budget, or services are worth more and if my needs and budget meet their expectations, winning!
‘Nuf said, IMHO!
