The post took me a few days, and I debated on whether to post it or not. I could post it here or alter slight for the timing etiquette thread but here it is. I 100% agree with Dicktracy3003's comment above, 90 minutes should be left strictly for legit massages. The best 90 minute providers are NOT the hottest girls in the city, it is the exact opposite, the girls who people rarely book and are willing to spend time to secure you as a regular. If you wonder why, ask an honest masseuse who is willing to explain; I personally learned a lot from OGVivian.
Here is the cold hard $$$ math. For my legit masseuse, she charges $110 per hour plus my voluntary tip so say $120 per hour. People complains, "OMG, $110 an hour, what is this world coming to, so expensive, I only want to pay $80!!!" From the $120, you take off the $40 which the spa would take, that leaves her with $80 for the hour, roughly $1.33 per minute. No matter how long I stay, it is $1.33 per minute. Worst if you look at the actual hard labour part of the massage, her applying therapeutic level pressure to my body for the full time, so $1.33 per minute of hard labour. For those who constantly complain about masseuse rates, consider what you personally are willing to do for $1.33 per minute.
For a typical 90 minute semi-legit session (assuming just basic HE, no nudity), I would pay $120 plus $60, minus the spa charge of $60, that leaves the masseuse with $120, roughly $1.33 per minute. The actual "hard labour" part is kept to around 75 minutes; so about $1.60 per minute of hard labour. Not much difference from a legit masseuse, so why do extras for little to no gain.
For a typical 60 minute semi-legit session, I would pay $80 plus $60, minus the spa charge of $40, that leaves the masseuse with $100, roughly $1.66 per minute. The actual "hard labour" part is around 45 minutes; so about $2.22 per minute of hard labour.
For a typical 30 minute semi-legit session, I would pay $40 plus $60, minus the spa charge of $20, that leaves the masseuse with $80, roughly $2.66 per minute. The actual "hard labour" part is around 15 minutes; so about $5.33 per minute of hard labour. The smart semi legit girls figured it out that the best customers are the 30 minute customers who pay the full $60 for HE. In their mind, it is $60 for a 15 minute HJ regardless of whether it is part of a 30 minute appointment or a longer one.
Now if you add nudity to the mix, the per-minute charge sky rockets for the shorter appointments. Also, some of you go ga-ga-goo-goo over girls who hugs, kisses etc. etc. Seriously, a smack on the head by a guy who has seen many of these tricks over time, all tricks of the trade handed down through the generations of masseuses to avoid "hard labour", if she is hugging you, she is not massaging you. The more they hug, the less effort they expand.
My regular outright told me what happens in a session with her "best customers". No, not any typical customers, these are the best of the best customers that girls fight over. The customers simply lay there, face down, she would simply stand there, chat with them, hug them for a few minutes, brush her hand gently across their back for a few minutes with a little bit of pre-flip teasing; bam, 15 minutes done. Those who demand pressure/efforts go to the bad list; those who are handsy go to the bad list. Then the flip and she would undress in front of them; yes she makes sure they can see her undress slowly. This is the part which makes them best customers, by that point, the perfect customers would be so stimulated by the hugs/teases/stripping that a quick handy (< 1 minute) in the nude sets them off. Then she would quickly dress and excuse herself to go wash up. For 30 minutes of nude HE, my regular's ask is $40 + $120 = $160 and all of her "good customers" pay it without question. Do the math, less $20 to the spa, that is $140/30minutes = 4.66 per minute, or infinite $$$ per hard labour minute. At the end of the day, the customer is happy, the masseuse is happy, it makes the perfect happy ending to the story. Rinse and repeat for 40 regulars a week, you make a very good living.
This is why if you are trying to book a busy masseuse, she may even lie about availability to avoid long appointments. OGVivian lied all the time, she does not do 90 minutes unless you are her "friend" and only friends get to book her last appointment of the night. Smart masseuses simply do not like long appointments, they prefer 30 minutes to maximize the money she can make in a day. They also prefer young excitable customers, not only are they better looking (complete secondary benefit), young guys are way more excitable and can get off with minimal efforts. People keep booking long appointments hoping for "more", the opposite usually happens, you get "less"; money hungry masseuses actually want to discourage long appointments. There is nothing you can get in a long appointment that you cannot get in a 30 min appointment, you are not going to magically get more services in a longer appointment, the magic only happens after the flip and the flip always happen at around the same time before closing.
So this is the hard truth for those of you who wonder why semi-legit sessions become worse and worse when you book longer and longer appointments; it is because many semi-legit masseuses DO NOT LIKE long appointments as they reduce their income; legit masseuses simply don't care. We keep talking about the "hot" girls in the city, just how often does any of the "hotties" expand true massage efforts on you, more hugs, some kisses, no real massages. Also if you think you are a hot shot young stud and the girls love you, NO, not because of your look, because you finishes in <1 minute and they like that.
There, I said it, many will hate me but it is a lesson some newbies need to learn. The best long appointments are with legit masseuses or with low volume ladies who value relationships over money. As usual, ymmv, things will always change once you establish a long term relationship with a masseuse and certain of them are less money hungry.
