I admire SP's who actually participate in this forum and defend themselves. The risk is coming on too strong and alienating your {potential) clientele. I appreciate it is frequently a thankless job having to put up with some of us who may be, to be polite, less-than-sanitary. I think the input of SP's is very valuable to us Massage Mongers and if a SP was wise they would take some our suggestions to heart. And a truly savvy SP and business person would actually use this forum to promote her business and take advantage of it as free advertising (As we know several SP's have done just that!)

Unfortunately, it seems Ann is neither savvy or wise....

Really there is a diplomatic way of handling this. First of all she should have just introduced herself, and not dig up old threads.

Say hi, tell us what she offers, answer any questions out there, and leave it at that! Anything new that comes out of the conversation is good for everyone, and she could have GAINED some clients...

Too be clear...Amal13 is Ann. so you will not get new information. A service provider has the right to defend theirselves but I wish they would not pretend to be someone else. though in this case I don't think Amal13 has claimed to be anyone.

Ann about the 20 year old Asian giving crap massages. Clearly, there is a knowledge gap. There are several Asian therapists in the 35-60 category in Alberta cities that give incredible massages. Thousands of other RMTs (3000 hrs or 2200 hrs) could learn a few things from them.

I've heard nothing good from clients so they only go to Caucasian therapists. They don't like upselling, no talking or wrong services from language barriers, bad massages, and endings...that's from them not me, I've never heard anything good from any guy I've talked to, but...don't care about other people's services., it's their business.
