I totally agree with you.
Don't worry about the pressure being put on you to join the AC.
Not Needed! Do Not Panic. As a fully insured aromatherapist you are fully entitled to practice this wonderful Holistic Therapy within the NHS, and Private Clinics, as many do and will continue to do so without belonging to the AC Register. The quality of your work and your total commitment to your clients/patients is important.
Remember your qualification only means that you have passed a course; it does not necessarily make you a Excellent Holistic Therapist. Those of you that are Holistic Therapists will understand when I say: Healing Hands, Warm Heart, Attunement and Empathy. These cannot be taught but are a part of our very soul. (Not in NOS)
There will be no legislation requirement for you to join the AC. The whole idea is Voluntary Self Regulation.
