The one from China can be produced for 3 bucks.
The one in Canada can't be produced for that little a price.

Poor working conditions ie; poor working facilities, unsanitary washrooms, no toilet paper, no soap, no refrigerators, no microwave ovens, no breakrooms, no locker rooms for your personal items, no fans in the summer, facilities that don't have heat in the winter, unsafe factories that have roofs that fall on them, and workers get killed, factories that are overcrowded, no fire codes, very few safety codes that are not enforced, workers go home with a little more than a dollar or two from a full day's work, no unions to help them with wage negotiations or safety issues, managers and supervisors treat them like dirt, child labour where children under 12 years old work for free.

I agree on what you said "This is called human degradation.". This is true for now. But give another 20 to 30 years...If Canada and other countries continue to rely on China in most of basic necessities then we are doomed! It will solidify what Go Raiders have said "China rules the export market"...and consumers (countries like Canada) will gradually loose bargaining power and will be at the mercy on prices being dictated. Damn...Somebody has to make sure Sarah Connor stays alive! We will need John in the future to lead the Resistance to defeat the almighty empire.

I hate to say...COVID-19 could be the equalizer or wake up call for everyone. The so called 1st world countries have been prosperous in last at least 40 years. It was a good life until now. Just several weeks ago us hobbyist were enjoying the company of MPs and SPs as much as we can. Throwing $100 dollars is easy. We got disposable incomes. But right now there are lots of uncertainties. It is unfortunate we cannot trust anybody. Medias, governments and world governing bodies are in cahoots.

Somebody has to step up to the plate. Get at least a hit and be on 1st base otherwise soon this game is over!

Why did China not completely conceal the source of the virus? It could have launched the attack in such a way that we would have no idea where it came from. It's because in this American election year, they wanted the voters to go to the polls with an overwhelming fear of China in their minds.
