Okay, figured it out:

657 Yonge was one of the spas busted in the newsserial.

The spa at Yonge and Temperance that was also shown busted is in the very same building as Sabrina's. In fact, it's the suite next door to hers, which makes me wonder if Sabrina was running a second operation next to her very legit place (I'm almost certain this is the case).

Many of you may know that there is a popular bicycle courier hangout right on Temperance where the entrance to this spa is. Sabrina's entrance is right on Yonge, but the narrow hallway connects the two places side-by-side.

What's funny about this location is that there is no neighbourhood to complain about this activity. It's totally discrete and no bother to the community whatsover.

My impression from the article was that the centres that were in the public areas and the illegal ones were the problem. I always wondered that about Plush, why did they place themselves in such a residential area.

When I go to SRM, it's in a nice quiet corner of an industrial plaza. When it's late, it's dark, it's empty, and it's quiet. Away from the eyes of the public.

It was only obvious that the public would speak out about this at some point when it's in their neighbourhood. If they were in dark corners, than public interest would be low.

Doesn't anyone else see this one?

I mean, the objective here is to find a way for these centres to stay in place without bothering the public, because we all know, the boys in blue have to listen to public opinion at some point, right?

City TV is scum. Its all about the ratings. Here in TO we have a big big problem with Gun violence, Gangs and people preying on our children and what does this pretend news station cover?? This is why I refuse to watch this station and the fact they are now carrying Monday Night Football pisses me off! I still will not watch MNF on the City TV channel. I only watch it on ABC. I wonder how many of the City staff are frequent clients of MPAs?

Part of the problem is the lack of a militant response from the many thousands of customers in the adult industry.

I'm not into MP's myself, I go to SC's and I tell everyone who asks me or brings the subject up in any way. Furthermore, last week I told everyone at my office who would listen that I was going to martyr last weeks pay cheque to my dancer! I've been doing this ever sice the Toronto Sun and CFTO led the first LD Inquisition in 1995.

You / We people need to stop scattering and laying low whenever there is a flurry of media coverage or LE activity. People need to be confronted with the fact that many of their friends, neighbours, relatives & co-workers use these services, and don't believe that there is anything wrong with it.

Stop lending to the illusion that this is an industry that serves only a tiny community of creeps & hoodloms. Especailly those of us who are single - dont just whine about it on massageplanet.net - GROW SOME BALLS - insist on your rights, be visible and defiant.

*When a place is raided, hold demonstrations and invite the media.
*Post the dates when perliminary hearings & trials are held and show up
in support of the workers & customers.
*Circulate petitions, saturate call-in shows, send letters & e-mails - signed.

Look at some things which were unthinkable just two decades ago like the acceptance of open homosexulality & transgenderedness, or the impending White Flag in the war against Marijuana usage. These things are now "normal" since rational people won't keep supporting the persecution of behaviour which is practiced openly and without appology by so many people in their community who are otherwise just like them.

See.. I hear what you are saying but heres the problems

1) You go to SCs... fine. But realize that to the "common citizen", SCs are more or less acceptable. So its really easy for you to say this. What about those who go to MPs and incalls? There is no comparison to SCs when you look at society acceptance...none what so ever. See, they think that guys that go to SCs are just guys being "guys" - whatever. Compare this to what they think of the type of guy that goes to incalls and MPs that are "horrible terrible people who like to jerk off to child porn and never worked an honest days wages in their entire life feeding off the sins of the world" ... dont beleive me? go talk to people about it, throw them a bunch of open ended questions and hear what comes out of the mouths of many of them

2) Taking point #1 into account, I dont think anybody who frequents MPs and Incalls want to be staging protests for teh whole world to see and judge them "unfairly"... Face it, we've been conditioned and its hard to break. You're right, it would take some gargantuan balls to do this...alas people have many other aspects in their lives that they dont want to jeopardize.... thats about the only thing I repected T-Bill for... hes got balls (either that or hes crazy)

Basically the public considers girls that work at SC as strippers and they are more or less excepted, but girls that work at MP are considered prostitutes. I have asked some of my female friends what they think of MPA's, and they all say the same thing "they are prostitutes" Even men who don't participate in this "hobby" will say that MPA's are hookers !! Just ask any woman or guy who doesn't "hobby" !
