Based on the original posting, I'd agree that this was the most likely thing that was going on. You spoiled his fun, and "her" income (unless it's true the guy already paid her).

If it were a lady, not a LB, and you were a new tourist was out on the beach with her doing that "disgusting" thing, and a friend of yours from back home unexpectedly came up to you and said "Hey, hello, didn't expect to see anyone I know here", chances are that would interrupt your plans too....

On a more serious note, if s/he came back to find you, to invite you to someplace on the beach, if I were you I'd stay away from the beach for a while. There have been too many stories here about Thai people "getting even" for some real or imagined "wrong" that was done to them.

You better get used to touching in Thailand mate... everyone touches you! Thats why its advisable not to carry too much of value at night... just the cash you will be spending that night... and make sure your pockets are secure... and of course... you will be quite happy when some of the stunners are touching you... and yes... don't argue with a LB... just get away as quickly as possible if you feel uncomfortable... :
