It would be hilarious if they actually showed a massageplanet.net review and read it out for the viewers, while explaining terms such as YMMV, BS, and MSOG. I will then look toward my SO, trying to keep a straight face, and say "Can you believe this ???!!!"

Maybe Tom Hayes will interview Sheik .... sitting on a large sofa in a dark room with his face blurred out, and his voice changed.

Last month's Toronto Life featured the airport and had a side-article about MP's in that area. The article mentioned massageplanet.net, and even used terms like "GFE". I created a topic earlier about it.

Well I think that if City Hall gets involved as it is trying to do is nothing but trouble.

It was a fair report. I still have my own personal opinion about Angelo (owner of A & R) talking to the press but I will just shut up now.

Just saw the news report about MP's on CTV. For those who missed it, it went something like this. They showed scenes about the stabbing that happened at A&R Studio. The CTV reporter (Tom Hayes) and a TO councellor walked into the spa and confronted Angelo, who owns the place. There was an MPA sitting in the lobby, who just walked into another room when the reporter went in. The owner didn't want any camera's on location, but I guess he folded because they showed a few clips of the rooms. No MPA's were in view and all declined an interview except the owner.

The reporter asked Angelo if something more than a massage goes on at these places, and he said not at his place, but other MP's could be at fault. Angelo said he follows all the by-laws and would fire any girl who crossed the line.

Tom Hayes then went on to tell the differences between RMT's and the other MPA's. Again, another shot of Utopia's website showing the stats on an MPA, highlighting the bust-size.

In conclusion, they pointed out two steps. First was to review the by-laws, and the second was to close down MP's that offered more than a massage.

I find it very irritating that news stations are so quick to point out how "evil" massage parlours are. Of course, they never bother to interview reputable parlours or woman who choose this profession because they enjoy it. I guess people might have to change their opinions if they were actually educated, and who really wants to realize they were wrong! Someone needs to do a story on the attendants who enjoy the services they provide, as well as the gentlemen who enjoy getting massages. We are not all drug addicts, uneducated or diseased. I can only hope that perhaps the Young Liberals have opened a few eyes in their recent presentation for decriminalizing solicitation, and that maybe someone will present "our" side of the story on the evening news.

The report did say that illegal activites do not occur at every MP, but LT (Love Technician), you are right, they do paint a bad picture of all MP's out there. The way they started the news segment was almost like saying that MP's are some sort of spreading virus. I don't think any of the ladies working at MP's, reputatable or not, would wanna reveal their true identities to the public by giving an interview. Same goes for the gentlemen who enjoy getting massages.

Well, at least, the report was nothing special. It probably got more attention than it deserved just because it was on CTV.

A short skit nontheless, but I am glad that the reporter did not do his homework and looked like a bumbling fool who had a deadline to meet to fill in a few minutes of air time.

The counsellor ... typical politician that is looking for a spotlight.

Tasteless in regards to visiting A&R shortly after the incident, where are your morals and decency? Oh yeah with your degree in journalism (mail order).

In regards to Angelo, he was put on the spot and had to act. No cameras at first but then he has nothing to hide and shows them the rooms and answers some questions. Of course he is not going to feign ignorance about the industry but he is not going to deny it either. I wonder how much of the taping was left on the floor.

Comparison of massage therapists ... quite frankly I would rather get the better looking one if I had the choice. Wouldn't any Tom (Hayes), Dick or Harry ?

Final Outcome ... maybe a post-EBC effect but I doubt it. Establishments like that have been around for ages and will proliferate even more. many politicians also understand that tourist dollars in regards to the "entertainment" is big bucks here, it would be a shame to lose those dollars for the sake of some bible thumping right wingers.
