Here we go again. So I walk into Lexa at 9:30 earlier tonight (Sunday), hoping to get to see Serena on a walk-in basis. There was also an MPA-material black girl who was the receptionist.

But this one other guy who also walked in picked Serena first, so I got to meet Bella and Sandra. In case you haven't met them, Bella looks Indian/Spanish and is short and petite (and also, not much eye candy).

On the other hand, Sandra is much prettier. Brunette, tall and slim would be her description. She looked app. 5'6 in height (not sure if it is the heels).

I first declined to see either Bella or Sandra, but changed my mind as I was heading down the stairs (where else could I get a massage at 9:30 + travel time???). So I went back and rang the doorbell. By this time, it was 9:35.

This time, the receptionist answered and asked me to wait. When she came back, she told me that Sandra already has another appointment.

Now, how could this be? There was one other guy (who picked Serena) and me. Someone called at 9:35 to make an appointment for, like what, 9:50? These girls are absolutely boneheads, not only because they are turning down appointments (not the first time at Lexa), but because they can't even make up a credible lie.

R (you know who you are), you better keep a tight lid on these airheads working for you.

It is a known fact that these bonehead girls turn down appointments (walk-ins or otherwise) towards the end of nights, even though it is around 930. Even if someone had called at 9:31, it is ridiculous how they would not have turned that guy down knowing they close at 10.

Given that they did not say "sorry, apparently she had a previously booked appointment" and you weren't there, why are you so quick to offer a defence for these girls? Do you, Sheik, not think for a moment that I, a regular at Star, can spot a B-chain debacle? These girls, as dumb as they are, know they have an appointment. On many occasions, in fact, they knowingly take a walk-in when someone else had made an appointment.

O wait a minute, perhaps I was not Sheik (who had the imaginery appointment with Sandra for 930), so I was turned down.

She probably just wanted to get out of there at 10 (or earlier) and another appointment would have taken her past quitting time. Since you know this is likely to happen why bother trying to book at that time?

I'm not "defending" the girls Scrooge. You went in at 9:30 a half hour before quitting time hoping to catch a girl. You were given 2 choices and you decided to pass, started to leave, went down the stairs and changed your mind. I didnt even know they closed at 10 until others mentioned it.

The girls want to leave at 10 and you're accusing me of defending them? I'm sorry bubba but you made a decision and then changed your mind and decided to blame them instead.

Sorry, that don't work with me and accusing me of defending them is a knee jerk reaction to a bad decision YOU made.

I'm sure Ginger will complain to the girls about quitting early but in the end, they really dont care when they want to get home.

Look, Sheik, the bottom line is, while I may have been indecisive for at most 1 minute (I literally took not more than five steps down the stairs), the reason given should have been "we don't have enough time for your session". I seriously doubt that they would have looked out for my best interest anyway by giving me a full 30 minutes so that they would leave at 10:01.

You didn't even know the chain closes at 10pm on weeknights. So why bother saying something about the chain you know nothing about? You weren't even there. Do you know for a fact that Sandra was taken in for a duo?

Let's assume you are correct for a moment (which you are not). So why is it that they were still expecting an appointment when it was, say, 9:31 when they want to be out the door by 10? Even if someone was to call during that 1 minute of indecisiveness, why would they still accept the appointment knowing that they close at 10?

At a minimum, Sandra should have taken me in and said "we can only have a 25 minute session (which would still end before 10). would you like to stay?"

Because you weren't even there, Sheik, your suggestions, as legitimate as they sound, are plainly absurd.

Rev - I didn't book her, I just showed up as a walk-in at 9:30. Sandra's last appointment at 9:30 was obviously a phantom appointment with Sheik. I'm satisfied Ginger has conducted a proper investigation and found the 9:30 door fee to be missing.

I have been a client of Star for many years going back to the old B Chain location further south with the giant pothole. I wasnt aware the place closed at 10 pm, big freaking deal. You gambled and took a chance and didnt get what you hoped for.

Lets say you took the 9:31 appt, took a shower and got ready, by the time the girl comes it its already 9:40 at the earliest. Half hour with you plus 10 minutes for you to clean up and leave and you're looking at 10:20. By the time she gets out and heads home it will be well after 10:30. That is probably the main reason why she said he had another appt.

Have you ever heard of the expression "He who hesitates is lost?" Quit blaming others for a decision you made that turned out to be a bad one.

Being the original veteran, have you read other threads dealing with situations where these B-boneheads turn down walk-ins when they end up giggling behind closed doors?

Of course I am going to blame them. Declining to see clients with a lame excuse, whether it is 9:30 or 9:32 as long as the session ends at 10, is not acceptable. Suppose I was to take a NR session. Why would any girl not want to make $60+ in a shorter session?

So now I know - because of Sheik, who takes 50 minutes to finish a 30 minutes session, the Bgirls turn down appointments the moment the clock hits 9:30.

Yes I understood what happened. Relax scrooge, sheik is just being sheik. And if I'm not mistaken, you have had a similar experience at Star previously. No sense getting worked up about it. When you break it down all that really happened is you tried to get an appointment and you were told the girl you chose was not available. You may not like the way it was handled but we all know that customer service is not always a priority at Star, especially near closing time. No real harm done. There are better days ahead and I'm sure you will be back.

Holy geeze. I'm a big-time lurker but sometimes ya gotta chime in...My guess is that it was her "time of the month," and rather than provide you with a less than "stellar" (stellar -- Star -- get it?) experience, she opted to decline the session with you, but was just too shy to say the real reason because she took a look at you and desperately wanted to see you back there again. Okay, so that's a joke, but the reality is that it's a job and they don't feel like staying late, and they just want you to go away so they tell you whatever it takes to get you to do that. If they declined you and also admitted they had no other appointments, you would have tried to negociate, and perhaps would have become as heated as you are on this thread. Sounds to me like they did the right thing. Also, and related to my point, these ladies aren't boneheads (many of them make more $$ than many of us) and we love them all...am I right or am I right? . Now I'll shut up and go back to lurking...

Perhaps these 'bonehead' girls turned you away because you were an asshole. Calling women airheads and boneheads only shows a lack of class and maturitry on your part. Perhaps you showed this same 'charm' when you were at the door. Shit happens, buddy. It's happened to me at many spas and all I can do from now on is to book an appt to ensure my spot. Maybe Sandra didn't want to see you when you came back up because you had already 'turned her down'. I can't imagine any mpa wanting to massage a guy who is only seeing her as a second best option. I haven't seen Sandra personally or this receptionist that you speak of, but have some respect and stop calling them names because you didn't book an appt.
