Well, you're talking about the Shanghai girls and most of them are materialistic and arrogant. Shanghai people don't like to be called Chinese because they believe they're more educated, sophisticated and modernized than the rest of the people in China. Not trying to ruffle any feathers or anything but some of you are seriously too gullible for these professional Chinese girls. These girls are experienced and will say anything to try to get an additional buck out of you. Stuff like "oh, I like foreign men better than local Chinese men" are said for show so they can get more benefit out of the transaction. There is usually an ulterior motive. If you knew the first thing about Shanghai culture/dating scene, you'd know that most of these pro bar girls are lying straight through their teeth. Shanghai women are the most materialistic and demanding in all of China while the men are the most accommodating and obediant. Some might even qualify to be called spineless. In a typical Shanghai family, the woman makes most of the decisions and the men do the cooking. This is by no means an exaggeration. True, some of these pro girls might be from other cities but believe me when I say that after a few years in Shanghai, they get adjusted to the loca lifestyle/perks REALLY quick. This is all through first hand experience and I still keep in touch with some of the girls (pro and non-pro) I've met during previous trips. And when you keep in touch with them and talk to them over an extended period of time, the truth tends to come out easier.

The fact is that there are far more Chinese girls that are somewhat uncomfortable with foreigner clients. If you've ever been to a sauna place, you'd really see how the majority of Chinese girls actually try to avoid foreigners on purpose. Some will duck their head or not smile to avoid being noticed, while others will just turn right around at the door during fishbowl, so on and so forth. The reactions of these girls are far more honest than your typical pro because the vast majority of them are young, inexperienced and brand spanking new to the business. Most doesn't even last 6 months. All in all what I'm saying is, as a friendly warning, don't buy into every little complimentary thing the pro girls tell you and certainly don't go out of your way to give them extra money or extravagent gifts. You're only getting suckered by their sweet talk but hey, it's your money and more power to you if you like being cheated. What do I know right?

I read through the threads, I visit China about 4 times a year, I have a factory 90 minutes from Qingdao. This was a karaoke place. I usually get the best speaking english girl that is attractive.

Every girl seems to have a Day Job and they make almost no money, Many don't like the Chinese men because they are treated like animals. So from a few have told me they live with another girl or sometimes their sister and one stays home and takes care of the house while the other makes money at night.

Outside just about any hotel after 10.00 you will get asked for a massage, The street girls maybe a little dangerous so watch out for them.

Every time I sit in a Bar just for a beer many girls come up, usually their is a group of them a a table in the back. One time I had two come up KIKI and LELE. That was a few amazing nights and I gave them $100.00 US every night, They seemed happy, I did get them food and also they took everything in the room that was not nailed down, (Not my things but the Soap, Shampoo, Apples, Anything) Then they came back every night and called to my room One wanted to be my girlfriend.

One thing that I always find amazing is they have this Jelly in the bathroom for 10 RUAN, It says it stop every possible STD (HIV Included), Yes I opened it it was like dark brown reminded me of the splinter removing goo (Draw-sit?) It seems every hotel is setup for bringing woman in. Sometimes to save money I stay at the Merrylin across the street, There I get phone calls a few times a Night, (You need a girl?) At that Hotel, The Bell Hops, Cab drivers, salon, front desk, I think they are all getting a Spiffs for each client they bring in.

I find the outside small places a little dirty for me, The price is good but you don't know what was going on before you got there, (What you might happen to lay in) Sort of ruins the experience. So I stay away mostly from the street houses.

So two questions, I read the thread and did not see this, How did you get the pictures? A few I can see you took easy but the others? I agree its hard to find a good REAR END on these girls, So it seems you found one here.

I am in Shanghai all week will Sunday when I move to Qingdao for another week.

Dude, get a damn Shanghai Travel Guide or once you get to your hotel, look for the travel/tour desk and book some city tours. Delicious food...again Shanghai Travel Guide.....you know...ehmm..Lonely Planet, Frommers, Fodders, etc. What's wrong with people these days?
