Good hotels in AC, Philippines

Hi all!
I'm doing a few days trip to Angeles city Philippines and wondered if some phuket info members would have any experiences about the hotels there.
Is it better to book a hotel on Highland avenue or perimeter road?
Is it worth to book a jacuzzi or other more luxury room Reviewom better hotel or just save the money for...well....other activities :love3: :
Every kind of tips welcomed.

I'll be there in a few weeks time
I stay at The Pacific Breeze hotel........right amongst the action.
It's a clean hotel, great stmpf, good food, nice pool, newish rooms in the Oahu wing, the BG's love the place.......Not the cheapest hotel in AC....But worth every dollar IMO.
I always get a jacuzzi room...it's about an extra $20 a night.

There's a new hotel that's getting good reviews at the moment, but it's a little away Reviewom the action..Lewis Grand Hotel

I suggest you google both places & take a peek.

I second the word on Pacific Breeze......my favorite hotel while travelling. Best value of any hotel that I've ever stayed, along with a terrific stmpf.

Thanks guys for your help. I just got a confirmation that premiere jacuzzi room is reserved for me Seems that Angeles city has tourist season around the year as I didn't see many "low season" discounts..

Btw. little offtopic but my dictionary gives two meanings to the word "terrific": great and awful. Guess if I was little confused by billpays reply

Markkus, you won't be disappointed with your choice of room....GUARANTEED.
Like I mentioned, it aint the cheapest place & others will/may discount.
This place has a good reputation & can justify holding a firm price all year round.

I recommend the ABC Hotel. It's a 5-10 minute walk to Fields.
Though, the great thing is the hotel provides drivers to send you to just about anywhere you want to. For ReviewEE.

So I got driven to the SM Mall, Perimeter, the Casino, the airport.
Saves you heaps of cash.

The hotel is also A class.

About the ABC hotel I have read some contradictory information like it wouldn't be worth of those +99$. At least I have some prejudices against those luxury hotels not being so Reviewiendly or gf but guess that in AC they don't have any other options than let the girls in and party started

For me, it was the Reviewiendliest hotel I've been to.
Perhaps the price is a bit steep for some, assuming you're staying long.
But for a short trip, it's ideal, IMO.

And it's GF. In fact, they have lock-downs too.
Err... don't know how to explain a lock-down but it's a good thing.

One reason I recommended it is because it's a short distance Reviewom the main strip. So you get a quiet night's sleep, if ever, you reach back in time for a quiet night's sleep.

I'm sure the hotels near the strip is just as good. I just wanted some serenity.

Thanks ivanlim for the info. Always good to have many options for accommodation. Actually I'm staying in AC just 3 nights but have to Give the hotel a try another time(and try those lock-downs:^^: )
