No intention of jalaoing dear friend, I was just replying to a post. In the past I have always shared my contacts with all but these days there are people who post numbers in open forum, which results in the indie being harassed and some times stalked.
Further, it is believed that some LE are observing this forum, which means some poor girl who enters this profession to make two ends meet (pun unintended) can be subjected to legal hassles. For me that is a big no no.
I was a newbie just last year and some seniors helped me with some fantastic contacts. In turn, I have helped many newbies too but when some one shares a contact with clear instruction not share it further, I respect that person's wish.
There are seniors like Badakhan and others who continue to help newbies. I trust their instincts and they can continue their good work. Also high end indies can be afforded by few people so there is no point sharing their number with all and sundry.
Lastly, the reason FRs are shared is so that genuine mongers should know about quality and cost of the indies. I do not get a kick out of letting people know that I had to pay for having sex!

1) If you are taking money for the list - it's your choice.
2) If you are asking others to exchange a new number - it's your choice.
3) If you're sharing with only few - it's your choice.
4) If you're not sharing with anyone at all - it's your choice. I have posted only one FR in the indies section and have specifically mentioned that IM not sharing it with anyone - so it's my own choice.

On above choices , "Your" means all the members belong to the forum. It's not just you.

On a day, people are arguing about cost of indies and another day, there's argument about why a high-cost indies number is not being shared with anyone. Guys, time to make up your minds.

Who can afford 5-15K indies have big pockets and spare money.
Who can afford below that range, have their own choices as per their pocket.
