Island Spa (Hellertown)

Island along with many in the area (Quakertown) have all been closed for quite some time so the area is barren of good choices.

this place is no more. stopped yesterday, first time in area since which knows when. didn't actually go inside but is some kind of salon with tanning. so disappointed. ended going to 9e in Jersey later so all was not lost.

Gold is about a block or so north of Wellness, same side of road. They do have a sign up.

Hilltop is a bit up the road (north) on the opposite side. On top of a hill, no less! LOL Actually it's at the intersection of 309 and Hilltop Rd, there is a traffic light there.

OK being that none of you would TOFTT or report findings .. I felt obligated to TOFFT myself. I went up the stairs and was greeted by the new Mamasan. Very nice women but you can feel the nervousness when you walk in the place. Same set up .. I was shown to the room the 30 something attendant came in and took the 70.00 massage fee. she set up a towel on the table and told me to get comfortable .. (At least that’s what I thought she said.) so I got comfortable .. and she came back in. She put a towel over my back side and gave me a wonderful massage. Actually one of the best I have had. Long story short .. R/T was all the was to be had this trip. As I stated before they are very nervous and very slow. The attendant Anna told me that the see one or two customers a day. when I asked for additional services she said that they were very nervous. I gave her for the happy ending .. She did let me take her top down to feel her huge can while she waxed the carrot. she did ask me if I was gentle a few times afterward .. not sure what she meant by that .. but I think F/S may be available as they get to know the clients. I did ask if there were additional attendants and she told me only one per day .. Hopefully they will get some hotties like the old place did.

For what it's worth, I've been very happy my last few visits to Gold Spa which is not far from Island. If you do go, let us know what's going on there. Good luck!

Saw it today and so I called. Mamasan said that she had a young girl when I asked for one, and when I pressed her for more info, she hung up on me. Regardless, I need to be serviced tomorrow so I figure what the heck, toss of the coin. Although, as advice has been given I can always ask to see and then walk if I do not like. I usually go for the crap shoot once in the room.We'll see.

"Open door" sign has always been there as long as I can remember. I always thought it was peculiar.

I just went there yesterday .. The 3 letter sign is for the Hair Place on the side. I went up to the door and rang the bell. I tried the door but it was locked.
As I was walking back to my car an older asian woman opened the back door and said " No Lopen Today" I said OK ..

Not sure what the deal is there .. It does seem that they are setting up shop .. but unless you have been there in the past .. There is no way of knowing there was even a business on the second floor.

Also there is a sign on the door stating " This door must remain unlocked when open for business" I do nto remember if it was always there or not ..

is Mama San Cindy working now. I was a regular @ Island, and I definitely miss the five minute drive and the service.

The Momma is working at another place in Pennsylvania. They didn't get to much buisness at Island anyway so I doubt it will re-open for awhile.
