I took the plunge, it's a house on 149 street, there is parking in the back. I was met by a couple of younger Ukranian ladies when I got there, and went with Kate since she looked cute. I'd guess she is somewhere in her twenties, said she only arrived here recently.

She is nice and friendly and I found the massage to be quite good and relaxing. Now to the bad part, it's totally legit, there was no teasing or anything like that. I wasn't given any indication of more than a massage so I didn't ask.

The other girl Anna talked to me briefly on the way out, she also seemed really friendly, and wanted me to come back for 4 hands next time.

Honestly I'm almost glad they don't do extra because I would end up spending a ton of money there!

I posted on another thread about AMAZING:

Amazing is BAD at running "misleading" ads.

She puts up pretty pictures, make the ad look very alluring that you might get something "extra", but lo and behold, all they want is your money.

Amazing is run by an Asian lady named MAY, and she knows what she's doing !

The one thing that always "amazes" me about Amazing, is how much turnover she has had (in the past).

If you see someone you do like, there is no guarantee that they may be there on a future visit.

She also does have ladies from different nationalities (not just Asian), and of various shapes/sizes (if you are looking).

To add, her one thing is that she believes in having a "pretty" girl give you your massage, but the "pretty" girl is under strict threat of firing for not doing anything extra.

MAY has also been known to interrupt a girl during a massage, just to confirm everything is "above board".

Well, if an uninvited intentional interruption happens when both consenting people are behind a closed door during a session, it's simple....jump off the table, get dressed, pay the prorated fee and out the door... never return and write a "nice review" describing what happened. Then wait for the spa name change under new management.

Agreed, May treats her employees poorly, a few of them have complained about her to me over the years. The sad part is she is still successful despite this, operating 3 locations now, and they are usually fairly busy when I go there.

I got waxed there once a few years back by the person you previously mentioned. She was not pleasant. She tore skin off . I was very close to giving her an open denver. The waxing isnt as bad if done correctly. If it is done wrong it can and did rip things. Never again.

So the way I see it ..... this is just bad marketing, instead of advertising hair removal services, she should advertise guaranteed tattoo removal services by ripping skin off the meat.

What's the 3rd location? She sold the business, that is now Interlude. I only know of Amazing Spa and the Home spa, with the Ukrainian ladies.

Haven't been to May's place for over three or four years. Know from a massage therapist, who used to work for her, that May issued receipts/direct billing for ladies who never had their 2200 hours.

She hasn't been that bad to me over the years, not good, just not that bad. The worst to me seems to be last minute cancellation for the Home Spa and wanting me to go to the main spa instead. Whenever she does that, I just outright cancel.
